I imagine you like fishing, or maybe liked to eat fish, since I don't know to many guys that dont, especially local ones let me toss you this.

So, if 2% of the fish on the island were poisonous, but you didn't know which ones, would you eat fish? I sure would not... I have been to vegas, and seen people win greater then 1/100 odds.
That is how concealed carry works in detering criminals. When people have to take a concious effort to think about, "If I try to do this, will someone shoot me" it does make people think.  Research shows, that criminals are more afraid of a victim killing them, then they are of police at all.  These are facts my friend.  Firearms, when utilized properly, and carried by responsible individuals, are a deterrent to crime and added protection for society.

Of course not everyone will carry. Not everyone is responsible enough to carry, and many simply don't like firearms. However, many people do want to carry firearms. I am one of them. 

So -- would we have been there to save her? No, probably not, it's a small percentage of people here who would carry. Could she have saved herself? Could she have stopped this thug in the act of raping her? Of course.
The point is -- SHE NEVER HAD A CHANCE, and we must empower ourselves to HAVE A CHANCE.

I personally have met some women who can and will do exactly what the video shows.   That's why they carry revolvers.......

Nobody is forcing you or anybody to CCW, if that's what you want that's your choice.  All we want is to respect our rights and fulfill what public officials haven taken oath for, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  The last time I checked, Hawaii is still the 50th state.  Crime does happen, exactly that's what we meant and you'll never know when.  Better to have a gun and not need it than needing it and not have it.  Don't you know that LEO's are not required by law to be there when you need them? There was a lawsuit regarding this matter.   Google it.

   I push revolvers because they Always work.  Especially  when fired thru your pocket.

   Unllike semi-autos which have more FTF and have a Need to be very much up on clearing malfunctions.  Stuff that will get you Killed.

   For the AVERAGE person, it is a minimalist firearm.  Minimal Manual of Arms and training(other than knowing the Law on close inter personal
       encounters of the violent kind.)

   We have more than enough semi-autos here in the compound.
