The whole set up will cost around $50K. So, I guess I'll only be able to buy 5 instead of the 6 I had my heart set on.

Last I seen they could barely make a 1k shot . The settings had to be perfect .

That is not skill shooting...the damn rife and scope does all the work, you just have to put the cross hairs in the target!

Is that sporting?  Is that how lazy we are now days?  Zero practice needed, zero skill, zero time invested in learning.   Might as well just go to the supermarket and buy ur meat.

Then after that.... Army robots!

I just got a response from tracking point the company said if i can get enough people for demo they would send one out. Anyone interested? :geekdanc:

Yeah the sent me an email the other day saying that . I asked the how the system was in shooting in low light rainy weather being we either hunt in early mornings and late evenings. They responded that they are stil working out the low light settings on it's internal laser system .

I've watched most of the videos on this scope. First you have to mark the target which is not easy. Then you have to go over the same spot before it shoots. The target also cannot move and if it does you have to remark. Besides that everything else is taken care for you.

I get what you guys are saying about the lack of the "sporting" aspect when it comes to this gun, but as a military member I'll tell you this. In war, I will take EVERY advantage to kill my adversary more effectively regardless of how its done.

That said, of course marksmen should still receive all the advanced traditional training as currently applied .
