I did a couple of times. Are you referring to the matched held on the first Sunday of every month?

yes that's the one
what kind of guns do they mostly use? I'll just be using my M&P 15-22 with iron sights.

I've seen 10-22s, Remington 40x, Winchester 52s, etc. I've shot my CLE .22 upper with irons
From what I understand there is no use of a sling, jacket etc.
Someone else here has a lot more experience than I and he was the one that introduced me to it.
$5 match fee (that was about a year ago) and that included a burger and whatever the club brings.  Great time!

It is fun. Ive shot one match and intended to shoot more, but darn work schedule is getting in they way.  Haha.  There is no sling nor jacket allowed,  iron or scope is in the same class, shooting is from the standing position with rifles, the rate of fire is such that you can complete the firing single shot bolt action, so a semi auto is not necessary.   Real good fun and lunch is included in the match fee.

I tried using a scope, it seemed harder becuse of the wobble when standing.  If scoped, id use a low magnification.     Irons are more fun anyway.  ;)
