The State-Certified or National Rifle Association Firearm Instructors are responsible for determining the
course of fire to be performed by the applicant that will allow the Instructor to certify that the applicant is
proficient in the handling and use of the firearm involved. At the minimum, the proficiency course of fire
conducted by Firearm Instructors should consist of the following, with a passing score of 75% or greater.

so does this mean the applicant needs to do all 3 of the courses of fire? or just 1 selected by the instructor?
Logan on the radio this morning.
1) People will need an NRA certified class, which most handgun owners already have. So hunters ed won't fly.
2) Shooting requirement is highly probable and NRA instructors can dictate it and sign off on it
3) He emphasizes the liability of using the gun again.
4) No word on pending apps
5) They are close to finalizing everything, and again expects to sign off at end of Aug at the latest. He stated again that he will be signing CCWs.
All the above is verbal and can change later. Lets see what's on paper and what the legislature does.
Got my Bargain GI 1911 from Buds. It's made by a Turkish company named Tisas. Since there were so many good reviews I ordered one and after inspecting it I can say it was probably worth it, though i wont know for sure until my next range day.
