What a bunch of double standard loving money grubbing hippies. The left pledges allegiance to Almighty Mother Earth and all the while they've discovered that global warming is actually...global cooling! Idiots. Want to see a liberal's head explode? Start talking facts and not emotions or feelings. They won't know what to do. They can't possibly comprehend something being factual. This state pledges to go green in the name of saving the planet and then we have officials that destroy wetland habitats and give waivers for the birds that are being killed as a result of windmill usage. Man those windmills look so beautiful against the Ko'olaus (see: sarcasm).
I'm so sick of this state and the single party corrupt Democrat system. Hey, Detroit, how's that 40+ years of Democratic rule going for you? I hear those Unions worked out really well! Hey, Chicago, how's that gun control working out for you? Luckily the strict gun laws prevent murders by criminals who obey the laws! Hey DC, how are your gun laws working out for you? Oh that's right, Anacostia in SE DC is one of the most dangerous places in the world (second to the US House).
I don't like pulling the, "where I'm from" card very often, but gimme a break! Tennessee (and others like it, see: Texas) values small business, capitalism, growth, jobs, innovation, and personal freedoms. This state is so backwards, so one sided, so screwed up that it's difficult to even ride a bicycle around here. A permit for riding a bike? I thought the lady at the Satellite City Hall was yanking my chain. What a joke our state leaders are, I mean really. This place (Hawaii) could do so much better! I'm not a resident, so I don't truly have a dog in the fight, but I'd be fighting tooth and nail to get these clowns replaced. The folks here seem just like the people I grew up around in the Southern US; hardworking, honest, good down to earth folks. And they've all been tricked into the left's trap of broken promises and nice sounding rhetoric. The leaders of this state and its communities are such a joke. It is a tragedy that the residents have to endure the asinine rules and regulations imposed on them by the People's Republic of Hawaii.
My orders can't get here fast enough, good luck with the marsh, the gun laws, having to register for damn near everything, needing the state's permission to do anything of merit or value, making three trips to the police headquarters to buy a long gun, not being allowed to shoot fireworks, and the list goes on and on. I've met so many folks visiting Hawaii that were born here but decided to leave this place, as beautiful and special as it is, because they just couldn't take it anymore and found a state where they could flourish. I see so many people in small business and around town and think, "man this guy or girl is really sharp! They'd do so well in Dallas, Nashville, etc."
Hawaii to me will always be one of the most beautiful places in the world that's been tainted by the rule of amateurs who impose their agendas on everyone from the bike rider to the gun owner.
