I am not sure why it isn't showing on Yelp but here is my review that I posted a few years ago. Why wouldn't my review show anymore? Seriously, if I log in, it will show my review, but if I am not logged in, it will not show my review, even if I search for the keywords... Anyone know why? Nevermind, yelp doesn't show non recommended reviews. Some computer program filters reviews by users depending on their activity, review quality, etc. Oh well.
I do think he might have a mild social disorder from the way he interacts with people. I forgot to mention in my review that Daniel yelled at me when I talked to another one of his customers. Someone came in to sell Daniel some old WW2 Japanese rifles and I saw this and asked him about them. Daniel told me not to talk to him and then told the other customer that he was there for him only and he couldn't talk to me either.
"I have been in this store about 5 times, purchasing items 2 or 3 times and I have decided never again. Even if they have an awesome deal on a product I still wont go and I will tell you why.
Daniel, the owner, is both the best and worst kind of salesman.
He will not try to sell you something you do not need and he will even advise you against buying something that will probably be a waste of money for you like a firearm for the wrong purpose or accessories that are a waste. So great, he is a salesman who you can trust, but then he goes on a tirade about how this product sucks (even though he sells it) and that product is just a fad etc. basically making you feel stupid and ridiculed for even asking.
EXAMPLE: "Do you have vertical foregrips for the AR-15?" Reply: (in a very irritated tone) "Why would you even want one? They are a gimmick, people don't know how to use them, the pros don't use then why do you need one? Why don't you just spend time and money practicing with iron sights instead of buying this product and not knowing how to shoot?"
I took my friend there to look at buying his first rifle or shotgun and Daniel basically pointed out to him that he did not even know how to hold the rifle properly and asked why he should even waste time showing the gun to him.
He is apparently an experienced instructor and a very proficient shooter so I tried to like him and respect his opinion but I got tired of feeling like an idiot just for asking a question about a product. Every time I went in his store I said "hi" when I came in and all he did was look up with a stern face and look back down at his work. He never acknowledged a thank you either.
The selection is pretty decent and the prices are fairly good so it is a good place to shop as long as you don't mind an extremely rude and insulting salesperson.
BOTTOM LINE: He may have valuable advice on products but no amount of expertise justifies the horrible way he treats his customers."
