This is the list I've compiled so far: Lee Classic Cast single-stage with their breech lock bushings, plus extra bushings so I can swap out dies without re-adjusting them; 4 carbide die set for my .45 from Lee, Lyman case prep tool for chamfering, primer pocket cleaning, etc; RCBS Uniflow thrower with the add-on micrometer adjustment; RCBS 502 scale; RCBS hand primer; and finally; 1,000 rounds worth of MTM boxes to put it all in. Grand total from MidwayUSA is going to be right about $453. I think the single-stage will work pretty good. It'll be slow, but that's ok, I liked doing the job with the old man back in the day, and I've only grown more patient since, plus someday if I decide to get into benchrest shooting (big in MT) I'll have a press with no play. Oh, yeah, I forgot a decent set of calipers, so put the grand total more like $480. Anything I'm forgetting? I think it's going to be a pretty good setup that will do what I need it to, and I can always expand/upgrade!
