Ok maui, relax. We're supposed to be on the same team, right?
We all know, or should know by now that the internet is full of fake stuff.
Even videos can be modified with computer graphics to show incredible events that never occurred.
A picture is not worth a thousand words any more. That is why I try to meet as many forum members as possible in person.
Any one of the people I have met will tell you that I do not throw out random internet bs, unless it's a joke.
I suggest that you should have posted the rebuttal video along with the first video so we can all get a more complete picture.
That would have made a lot of sense.
It was sad to watch the Chief apologizing for his dumbass deputy.
Obviously that deputy was not very professional.
His uniform was sloppy and I still think his shoulder patch was held on with duct tape.
If you examine the video it looks like the jacket material is creased under the patch which would indicate that it wasn't sewn on.
And btw, I never said he was a homeless guy from a goodwill store.
I said he LOOKS like a homeless guy...etc....ie. not very professional.
Ok?
I am relaxed. Sorry if it seemed I was jumping on you. I kind of was, but in a constructive "don't be too lazy to Google before you post" kind of way.

I see other people on here get grief for posting unsupported comments -- sometimes playing devil's advocate, but often just making up crap based on their version of logic and a whole boat-load of assumptions, and all with the apparent intention to be plain argumentative.
You have every right to jump to your own conclusion based on nothing more than the 47 second video clip and your evaluation of it. But if you take the time to post those conclusions in a public forum, don't feel picked on if you find out everything you posted was incorrect. The only reason I didn't post the second video before was I had not FOUND it until I saw what you posted. I had read who the Deputy was, but only after researching further did I see the Alex Jones page point to the Sheriff's video.
Yes, we are all on the same side here. As such, I think we should all take time to research and validate our information and conclusions before we post them. I try to take some time to Google what other people post. Quite a few times, I find the things people posted as fact turn out to be satire or total fiction from some whack job with an agenda and too much time on their hands!
Since you made this a point, you said "Looks like a homeless guy". I said " your conjecture about a homeless guy in a Goodwill Store jacket". I believe "conjecture" is pretty much how you said it. I fail to see any argument there.
Anyway, since we ARE on the same team, I PERSONALLY would hold off on posting something that discredits someone else's post without facts to back it up. Casting doubt without providing substantiation is not helpful to the team.
This is, of course, my opinion only. I'm just hoping to explain why I thought your labeling the video as fake was, in a word, wrong. Imagine if I had not corrected your conclusions. Others reading your comments might believe your take on it -- and they would also be wrong. What useful purpose would that serve?
