Hi, newbie here. I didn't know whether to attach this to another thread or start a new one, so apologies in advance if I'm doing the wrong thing. I found this website through searching for info on how to move guns to Hawaii. My wife and I are planning to move to Oahu shortly (from NJ - a hellhole of gun regulation

), and I have two guns, a handgun and a shotgun:
Browning Hi-Power Semi-Auto 9mm (13 shot clips)
Benelli M2 Tactical Shotgun - Semi-Auto, 18.5" barrel, matte black, normal stock/grip, capacity 5+1
Couple of questions, apologies in advance - any answers greatly appreciated! (I've been looking at the FAQs, too - lot of information there!)
1. I've seen that clips over 10 rounds are prohibited. I guess that means I just chuck my four 13-round magazines and buy new ones? (I was looking online for 10-round magazines, what is a prac/sil magazine vs. a regular magazine?)
2. With the shotgun, it seems I'm OK with the barrel length - but any restrictions on the magazine and semi-auto?
3. If I'm moving a container of my household furniture etc., can I just put the weapons in with all that stuff? Or do I have to specially transport them? And then when they arrive, I guess I have 72 hours to take them down to the local police station and register them?
Thanks!
