I think this may be intentional on the part of the Donald and his advisors. Every time you think he's sunk, they release a position statement that makes you think again.

Yes, he's an asshole, but, he seems to be an asshole that's on OUR side. I'll take that over a mealy mouthed politician that owes special interests for his position and will piss in our glass and tell us it's beer to remain in office any day.

Trump is pissing off both party's because he's outing them for the lying, self serving sacks of shit they really are.

donald trump is on his own side.  he's already wearing out his welcome, and isnt going to get the nom, he's doing this for publicity for himself.

In Hawaii, that's a purely rhetorical question.  Even if our entire state voted Trump, the 4 measly electoral college votes won't tip the scales one way or the other.

For us, Presidential elections are left up to the other states.

Eh ! That's what I said !

our vote for president doesn't even count as he/she is already elected before our polls close.

But I would vote for Trump as a grand experiment.

Your comment was almost a year and a half ago!

It's expired and has no relevance now!

What about a more recent one !

In all fairness, we poor folks in Hawaii don't get to vote for the president. The election is decided before the polls close in Hawaii so voting for the Pres here is only symbolic.

OMG!  You DID post this months ago!  And not just once, but TWICE!  I should have done a search to make sure my opinions don't coincide with yours.  Otherwise, people will think I'm stealing your ideas!

I sincerely apologize!  It won't happen again!

Not sure how close to being a Libertarian that Nader is. He has been an Independent left and I think a Green Party candidate at some time in his life. But former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson comes to mind.

BTW, Unsafe at any speed was not well written but caused the safety movement in autos that I believe we have all benefitted from. Even at a much higher cost. This coming from a true Corvair fanatic.

Shows you what I know.
Gary Johnson sounds like kind of a badass.

I would still give the Trumpster my vote though against Hillarity or Bernie.
With all his boasting, I want to see what happens when rubber meets the road.

A vote for a third party candidate is a vote for the Democrats.  Conservatives tend to split themselves between Republican and Independents.  Democrats don't seem to know any other way to vote than straight party ticket.

Personally, I don't think Trump is going to get the nomination. My comment was meant more of a stirring the shit rather than who I would really vote for. Hence the  :geekdanc:

I will probably vote for the Republican candidate this election just because I DON'T want any of the Democrat candidates to get elected. I really doubt that Trump is going to get the nomination, though. So for me to keep stirring the shit like I won't vote for Trump is really a moot point. Since I don't think Trump is going to be the nominee, I won't vote for him.  :geekdanc: :geekdanc: :geekdanc: I voted for Gary in 2012. But I think the real badass is turning out to be Carly Fiorina.

Let's not be too supportive...

http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Ben_Carson_Gun_Control.htm

But when asked whether people should be allowed to own "semi-automatic weapons," the doctor replied: "It depends on where you live. I think if you live in the midst of a lot of people, and I'm afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it," Carson elaborated. However, if you live "out in the country somewhere by yourself" and want to own a semi-automatic weapon, he added, "I've no problem with that."

I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons...
