Yeah, that one's a classic. One can only wonder what kind of devastation would have ensued had someone less professional than him had a firearm in that room. Likely some kind of nuclear event.

What is an "investigator in the Prosecutor's Office" anyway?  They employed by the State and are a State LEO?  Are they independent investigators?  GZ is curious.

Got me...  but they're obviously armed, the article said they have "police power" , whateverthat means, and have more power and privilege then us peons.

What is an "investigator in the Prosecutor's Office" anyway?  They employed by the State and are a State LEO?  Are they independent investigators?  GZ is curious.
They are State LE, generally former cops, who work for the PA. I've known a few of them over the years....

They go out and make arrests of certain types.

I don't know the specifics but I believe they deal with a certain type of warrant or court order. Sure, any cop could arrest for a warrant but having a dedicated squad has its advantages.
