I know this has been asked and answered, but the last info I have seen is about a year old so I am breathing life into the question again.
I am new to Oahu; Navy brought me over from San Diego, and I am looking to reload for my .264LBC (and a couple others). Is there a reasonable priced place for powder and primers?
In San Diego, we would do group buys for powder and get 8-10 folks to buy in to a lot of powder to avoid the Hazmat and reduce the shipping cost, does that ever happen here? I know Wiedners doesn't care if it is a mixed order of powder and primers as long as it meets a threshold for no hazmat fee.
Finally, the military regularly sells triwalls of brass, usually once fired mil brass in 5.56, 9mm, or 7.62 in the ~2000lb range. These are usually mixed with blank brass (junk) and the last person I talked to in SD that bought one of these had 20-30% loss due to blanks or crushed brass. Is anyone interested in pursuing the purchase of bulk brass like this?
