I know many here have been to other countries outside of the United States. I have had the opportunity to work for a short while in a country. This place is NOT considered a poor country, nor particularly tyrannical. My observations when there was this.
There are mostly two classes of people that live there. The very rich, and the dirt poor.
The very rich part of this country is lavish to the extreme. The poor part is damn near, or is, human right violations.
Poor are not cared for like they are here in the US. It's a rough existence for them.
This experience gave me a whole new perspective and appreciation for our great nation. And even more questions on why so many feel so discriminated against and hateful for our country.
Here there is a more level playing field, with freedom to do as we please with our lives, than any other country in the world.
In my eyes and opinion, there are too many unaccountable social assistance programs, with too few checks and balances, to keep those benefiting from them from abusing them.
Do I want to see people live the way they have to in my observations? (No work, no money, family and self don't eat)
Hello no. There is a place for help to be given.
Do I like or appreciate the constant 'playing' of the system and no accountability of those who received my hard earned wage, yet keep asking for more, because it's fair.
No I do not.
