Funny thing, ended up running into Mayor Caldwell on Tuesday.

We talked about the range, and he told me he thought it would be a "Good idea" if a "Private entity took over running the range". Not sure if that means a deal has been made, or if he was just fishing. I am sure the city would like to get away from the liability situations like this create.

Food for thought, in any case.

A loud bang? Maybe just me but I don't think the bullet alone would produce a large bang entering the home.

If youve ever been down range pulling butts or been shot at. The bullet definitely makes a loud bang (more like a crack of a whip to my ears) our big wildcats make a very loud bang/crack. But the bullet would still need to be traveling at supersonic speed for this to happen.
