This is the first firearm I have owned that has a magazine disconnect, and the process required to break down a MKIII requires multiple trigger pulls. Yeah, inserting and removing the mag is freaking irritating. And I am not used to inserting a magazine and pulling the trigger unless I am actually shooting the gun. It just doesn't feel right, doesn't feel safe to me.
I was going to buy a bushing to remove this stupid device, but after doing some research on how this works, how it goes together, and being the cheap mofo I am, I decided to do a little Bubba-ing.
disclaimer- don't do this shit to your gun, you probably paid much more for it than I did, and it probably looks much nicer too.
Break the sucker down.

Find the offending part.

Pull that sucker out.

You have been convicted of being a useless redundant part, do you have anything to say before sentence is carried out?

Bye bye...

Yours partner in crime has also been dealt with!

Now you may return and serve a useful purpose!

Now is all good. Mags drop free and don't need to be inserted to drop the hammer.
