Okay I'll Share... No tin foil hat B.S... just reality.... We are not preparring for the end of the world... Just a real bad storm, hurricane, tsunami, etc....
Pretty sure I posted before... but again....
I've been a camper/prepper for many years... finally decided to up my food storage to a "higher level"....
Over the course of several months so not to sore on the wallet....
Ordered 20 mylar food storage bags, 3 gallon bags as I recall, along with a large pack of 02 absorbers.... (Excuse my numbers... did last month plus Ive been drinking... heh heh)
Packed and stored...
60 lbs. White Rice
20 lbs. Pinto Beans
20lbs. Wheat flour
20 lbs. Oats.
10 lbs. Sugar
5 lbs. Salt
10 lbs. Pancake Mix
10 lbs. Powdered Milk
5 lbs. Black Beans
5 lbs. Peas
10 lbs. Baking Soda
Sealed em' up with the 02's and a heat sealer....
We have a full pantry of canned goods, plus two large "storage totes" full.... Canned spam, vienna sausage, corned beef, tuna, salmon, veggies, beans, fruits, etc. all rotated from the bins to the pantry in that order so nothing gets out of date....
Two Costco "25 year buckets" of various freeze dried foods....
Hope this helps and gives a good idea of the basics....
