Nobody put it up yet so I'm going to ask. Did anyone see it yet?

Saw it Sunday.....Fkn loved it! Lots of EOTech, spotted a couple Aimpoints. Great action and much more plausible scenarios than most movies. I'm definitely snatching up on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

Yeah, the plot line is infinitely more believable than the usual "Osama bin Dickface has gotten ahold of 253 Russian nuclear warheads, with 132 Scud missiles to mount them on, and he's going to blow up the moon so it always looks like the Islamic crescent thingy!!!!"

Also, I liked the fact that the characters aren't real actors, so there's no horseshit emotional exchanges, but the best thing about it is that there aren't any conflicted characters.  You know how movies nowadays are, there's no such thing as black and white, all the "good guys" have to have a bunch of emotional baggage, and the director constantly tries to blur the line between good and evil (to better suit his personal moral relativism).  Refreshing to see a movie where the good guys are good guys, and the bad guys are bad guys, and that's that.

I loved the "Pro military" "Pro American" plot to the movie. :)

The peaceful acting parts and line deliveries were horrid - but if you're going to watch it for the story then you're doing it wrong. It was a great action flick and a great Amuuurica - FUCK YEAH, kind of movie! Wife enjoyed it too!

Too bad the US gets nuked and everyone dies in the end.

My coworkers suggested me to watch it

Kaneohe GS suggest it on its web page in green and underline

But... the reviews not so great most about how flat or lack of emotions from the characters, then again they are using real seals

Emotions? SEALs? Yeah good luck in that. There trained to not act on emotion, thus the only emotion they have is mission first.

As I mentioned earlier, if you expected people who trained all their lives learning to kill to have the same caliber of acting as someone who had trained all their lives to act, then you're doing it wrong. yeah the acting was horrid, but if anyone is seriously critical about that, then they weren't using common sense to begin with.

The story was rather predictable and very call of duty like, the acting was pretty bad....but I went there with a hard on for the ”gatling gun mounted on the boats” scene from the trailer.

I wouldn't say it was a movie per say more of a documentary/ movie. If you go there thinking its great acting then you'll be disappointed. But if you go there thinking these are SEALs some of the best of the best who never took acting lessons, and did the film while being on active duty then it's a great film jut like Restrepo, even that was awesome no actors just real men.

I wouldn't say it's terrible acting, it just doesn't feature the emotional crap that Hollywood has conditioned us to expect.  I thought the dialogue seemed off, too, but the more I think about it, the more I think that it was accurate.  I don't remember the last time I had a deep heart-to-heart with a friend.  Most actual guy dialogue is nothing like Hollywood's portrayal.  My buddy went IA, and the pre-deployment conversation went something like this:  "Well, I'm leaving, Scammy."  "Hey, don't die or anything.  Shoot a camel for me!"  Pretty sure if Siskel and Roper were critiquing that, we'd have gotten two big thumbs down for our horribly shallow depth of emotion.

This is the way I took it.

Here we are, were Navy SEAL's, this is part of what we do, this is how we react, this is the real tactics, take it or leave it.. 8) O0

Well I personally didn't have a problem with the dialogue themselves. I agree that man-to-man talk is barely above grunts and head nods. I mean the line delivery was monotone and sounded like being read off a paper. Of all of them, Senior probably had the best line deliveries.

I was hoping to see some A-10's man O_o. Sexiest machine built by man.

That part rocked.  If I wasn't such a fat pussy, I could be a SWCC guy, too.   :(  Oh, well.
