"just saw a video"?
that happened yesterday...

Yes, just saw it today. Is there a problem with that? Am I not allowed to consume day old news or something?

Wait until this weekend. He'll get around to seeing the video of Trump correcting his statement today.

This is why I have him muted.  He sucks away too many of your braincells, like a cerebral black hole.

Oh so  as long as Trump comes around later and says he didn't mean it your fine? Tell me, how does Trump's scortum taste?

That assumes that Russia was intent on trying to get a particular candidate elected but that is not the only tactic they might try.

It is possible they preferred one candidate over another but all the known meddling from Russia appeared to be more to just destabilize the USA. The hack into the DNC helping Clinton over Sanders certainly didn't help so it would be hard to say they were pushing for Clinton. I think Russia tried to create strife to disrupt our society and the whole facebook ads and groups they created seemed to be very effective given how little money they spent on it. The more infighting we have in America the less attention and energy America can spend dealing with Russia. They don't have to beat us with their military if we all turn on ourselves and had a civil war or big unrest. Remember that we didn't beat the USSR with our military, we beat them by outspending them and making them spend till they were destabilized. More complicated than that of course but that was a factor.

We have all (nearly all) of our intelligence agencies saying Russia meddled in our elections but Trump believes Putin over them because Putin said they investigated/will investigate themselves?
So stuff like BLM and all that other internal strife that the US was going through when Obama was in office was any different?

Which agencies are these? And what is Russia's end goal?

Russia fed off the BLM stuff, creating BLM type groups to increase the strife.

But the issue is Trump here, not all the crap Obama did when he was president. Obama creating strife doesn't excuse Trump for believing Putin saying "we didn't do it"

What a sidestep. You can't refute the criticism of Trump so instead you redirect by calling me a liberal. So are you cradling the shaft while Flapp licks Trump's balls?

Well guess what, I don't subscribe to your theory that one is either 100% pro Trump or a raging liberal.

Includes the FBI, CIA, NSA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

I don't know what Russia's end goal is, I am not a Russian spy. My suspicions though are that they are trying to cause internal strife to destabilize out country.

I don't care if you criticize Trump.  Just that you are blind to the stuff that others have done that is worse, or what I believe to be worse.  If you don't think that the culture of hate and division that was around under Obama wasn't super damaging to this country.  No, Russians interfering with US elections isn't good, but how many AMERICANS were hurt or died because of the strife that Obama created or stoked fire of?  That was my point.

I could care less about anyone who criticizes Trump, me, whoever.  To each his own. . . You just have a super frustrating way of trying to argue.  You always seem to argue from both sides of your face and deflect into random points.

He also can't form a coherent response without using juvenile homophobic insults.

It always shows how Liberals think.  They pretend to embrace LGBTQ people, but they also use homosexual slurs and imagery as insults.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

You have a suspicion and not a hypothesis as to what Russia could be doing. You have a lot of reading and studying to do in order to come to some sort of reasonable analysis. What would Russia gain from a destabilized USA?

Hey, the life of a HPD troll is tough, trying to pretend to be one thing and then having your real beliefs leak through.

I am naturally an arsehole all day long, so no dissonance............

I am not blind to what others have done worse, they just aren't the topic. At a murder trial is it a wise defense to point out that at least the accused didn't eat the people he killed?

I absolutely think Obama hurt race relations in this country more than he helped, but he isn't president anymore. Trump is president now and he is saying stupid things and he should consider that criticism because we are stuck with him for 2.5 more years. He is the one now in power who will make a difference one way or another in those 2.5 years. We can chide Obama till we die but we can't change the past. With Trump at least we can hope for a better future with him. I am not playing a comparison game here.

I do argue from both sides because no single side has all the right answers. Sometimes democrats are right, sometimes republicans are right, and sometimes libertarians are right. I try to give credit where credit is due and criticism where it is due. Sometimes Trump deserves criticism and sometimes he deserves credit. Same with Obama and Bush, etc etc.

What would Russia have to gain from a destabilized USA?
We are the most significant threat to them militarily and economically.
Who else can wield as much influence over Russia?
Who funds much of NATO which stood/stands in opposition to potential military aggression from Russia?

So tell me, what is your theory as to why Russia would work to create this strife among American people?
