Like paying for my mortgage.   :P  ;D
By the end of his presidency, I don't think he'll have enough money to pay your mortgage.

Hey, if Obama can promise universal healthcare and get everyone on-board with that to vote for him, maybe Trump can promise mortgage forgiveness. . . [/sarcasm off]

I know you were joking, but it brought to mind this video.  Lots of people who voted for Obama in 2008 thought he was really going to raid the government treasury and lift them all up. Instead, he doubled the national debt and lifted up his big money corporate donors via bail-outs.  Even the Cash-for-Clunkers was a bail out for car makers (with big union memberships). He raised taxes, failed to create significant job growth to replace lost jobs, etc.  The poor were unemployed, and the rich got richer.  And the tax payers were left holding the bill.

Sadly, there are people that still think Obama walks on water for all that he did for America.  Did Obamacare really help?  I dunno because I'm not affected directly, but I don't think so.  I'd rather have someone who promised the world and did nothing than to start a program that made things worse.

From what I can gather, Obamacare helped a few thousand who qualify for the subsidies or had pre-existing conditions and could not get coverage before.

The issue is, the program cost billions more than those success stories justify.

ACA was never fully planned out so it could succeed longterm.  It was a stepping stone toward single-payer Socialized medicine.  ACA was to dismantle the US health insurance industry, which was the #1 hurdle to single-payer. Once the private market was no longer viable, and ACA proved to be inadequate, single-payer (gov't) healthcare would be the final solution.

Obama said so much in videos before, and while, he was a Senator.

If Trump loses the House this November, I expect him to roll over like a lovelorn puppy. He's in it for himself and only for himself.

Damn. . . very sorry to hear that.  Seems like you just got done with medical bills recently.  The surgery as well as taking away from your gun funds. . .  :(

Hope things go smoothly.  Keep me posted on when you plan to have the surgery.  I'll try to make it out to shoot with you folks again before then.

I'm taking you're one of those business owners. . .

I mean I should probably know more about Obamacare, but I have a feeling the more I learn the more i'll be  >:(

With family going through health issues, I have pretty good idea on how important health insurance is.  Also bad taste that the "healthcare industry" has left me with.

Lots of good info here ...

Obamacare is now optional
[Opinion section]

Quote
At long last, the Trump administration has created a “freedom option” for people suffering under Obamacare.
A final rulemaking issued Wednesday reverses an Obama-era regulation that exposed the sick to medical
underwriting. The new rule will expand consumer protections for the sick, cover up to two million uninsured
people, reduce premiums for millions more, protect conscience rights, and make Obamacare’s costs more
transparent. And unlike President Barack Obama’s implementation of his signature healthcare legislation, it
works within the confines of the law.

Federal law exempts “short-term, limited duration” health insurance from having to carry the unwanted coverage
and hidden taxes Obamacare requires. Many consumers have understandably taken refuge from soaring
Obamacare premiums in short-term plans.

Hoping to force those consumers into Obamacare plans, the Obama administration sabotaged short-term plans
by stripping them of crucial consumer protections. It cut the maximum plan term from 12 months to three months,
and forbade issuers from offering “renewal guarantees” that allow the sick to continue purchasing short-term
policies at healthy-person rates. State insurance regulators protested that these restrictions literally stripped sick
patients of their coverage.

Because he already did his share of rowing on the galley ship when he came over as a slave.  Duh!

The first three oarsmen aren't rowing in the original portrait. They are pushing the ice out of the way.

POLL: Black Support For Trump Nearly Doubles Since Last Year

Quote
Rasmussen's daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday showed a significant spike in support from the black community,
nearly doubling President Trump's support among that demographic from this time last year.

Trump hit a 29% approval rating among blacks, up from just 15% in August of 2017.

China begins to show signs of cracking in the trade war.  More Trump winning soon?

Chinese leadership is facing a rare backlash for its handling of the US trade dispute

There is a growing feeling within the Chinese government that the outlook for China has "become grim", according to a government policy advisor, following the deterioration in relations between China and the United States over trade. The advisor requested anonymity.
