I got emailed an endowment membership offer with the NRA (just payed off lifetime) for $250. I went for it on the installment plan. Normally it’s $1,000 so I’ll have the fancy pants lapel pin for what I would have donated anyway. High five.

Plus a bonus jacket. You can’t go wrong with a jacket, right?

At this point I’ve blown thousands on firearms. I’d be a real dong to stand by and let my property be outlawed.

I recently got a beautiful NRA jacket for upgrading to Patron status. It's heavy but wonderful.
If you work in an air conditioned office it's perfect. Looks very classy but casual.

How much money have you donated to ANY pro-gun organization in the last 10 years?

Or are you still "evaluating" which one is deserving of your measly little contribution?

It's really none of your business.

Words are cheap.  I just want to know if he's putting his money where his mouth keyboard is.
HPD likely prohibits donating to politically incorrect groups.  The Brady bunch is likely A-OK as is the "Moms" thing.

He already answered my question.  "Nunya beeswax!"

If he ever joined, he wouldn't hesitate to try and make me eat my words.

Just put him on your ignore list. He adds nothing to our community anyways.

I have both him and AssHole in my list, but when people quote him or refer to their comments, I wind up seeing those.

There's an ignore list?

I got an email from my grandfather today:

Hi (Direjackalope)
I have tried to contact you by phone but no luck. The liberals are going nuts after the NRA, so I decided that they needed some help so Grandma and I bought you an Endowment membership .I think it will do you more good than  me,  as on old fart at 87 yrs. old.  You will be receiving a jacket in the mail from them.  I would like to have the jacket,.so can  have you send it to me, or .bring it with you when you come back here.
Take car
Tell (Mrs. Jackalope) Hi
God Bless
Grandpa and Grandma

What a guy.  I had started an installment plan on my own endowment membership earlier in the month so I guess I'll lose out on the jacket.  I think I'll be ok without it.

There is a NRA recruiting program.  It pays you for each member you signup.

Use the money to pay for equipment and expenses of your 2a activism or donate to HRA.

NRA donation completed.

I got an email stating that they want to get as much donations before releasing a financial report to the Federal Election Commission and it ends on March 31.  I guess it is to show how much support the NRA has by showing how big its wallet is.
