Who is shooting this Memorial Day weekend?

I'm planning on helping out a friend test out loads for their rifle.  I don't plan on shooting much myself this weekend.  Mostly just looking forward to a weekend away from things.  I was able to shoot a bunch last weekend, so good to get back into the swing of things.

I hear ya.  I had planned on shooting 50-100 last weekend, but I ended up shooting 150 rounds.  I want to say quality rounds and not just making noise.  Prior to the recent shortage stuff, a range day like that would normally be in the 200-300 round range without a second thought.

Planning on testing a few different loads myself.  Haven’t shot since before COVID

Haven't been to the range on weekends for decades.  I go either wed, thurs., or friday.

How crowded is it?

Do you have to wait long for a bench?

I remember my friend said he used to be at the range a couple of hours early to guarantee himself a bench.  I assume he wants to get his shooting out of the way first thing in the morning.

Is there a time when the crowds thin out?  During the weekdays it slows down after 2 pm.

I've been at the range the past two weekends and like mac said, not crowded.  I went to the pistol range two weekends ago around 10 am and less than half full.  Was same about when I left.  As I was driving out, the rifle range seemed about half full, probably less.  The silhouette range was pretty empty.

Last weekend, I was at the range all morning and the rifle range seemed about half full and silhouette was about the same.  At least that I could see.  I would think it would be a little more crowded given a holiday weekend tho, but seems like range hasn't been too busy.

Who is shooting this weekend?

After a glorious few days unplugged over Memorial Day weekend, I'm looking forward to getting some pistol training in this weekend.  Good that the ranges and classes are opening back up.

Will hopefully be hitting up the rifle range more and get the .308 loads refined on my Rem 700, but will likely be later this month. 

Who is going shooting this weekend?

I forgot today is a State holiday.  I am planning on taking the afternoon off, so might head to the range and test some .308 loads from a few weeks ago.

I'll likely be shooting some rifle and pistol.  Thinking of shooting the AK Project.  It's been a while since I've shot that AK.
