Starting to look like Ruger will make a lot more $$$ selling bags than rifles (BTW, Ruger.com does not show the bag available as an accessory--guess if you want the bag you gotta buy the rifle too!   ;))

I guess about the only thing easier to travel with would be my Charger.  But probably not after I put the Ken Light mount on it and the Nighforce scope.  Let us know how it shoots.  Check out Rimfire Central for accurizing tips.  Slim

Did you get it online? I've been considering online since I haven't seen any locally, except what's posted here.

Anybody with a 10/22 TD:   Did you mount a scope on your TD, or are you running with just the irons?

I'm looking at mounting either a Nikon Prostaff 4x32 or Leupold 4x28 on my TD.

Nikon is cheaper, but at 11.5 inches, I've heard that people are having problems with putting the subassembly (with scope affixed) back into the bag.

Leupold is lighter, shorter, and supposedly fits in the bag, but it is quite a bit more expensive.

Also, if you did mount a scope, which rings did you use, and how are you liking them?

I'm not really looking at the QD mounts (I'd much prefer keeping the scope affixed to the receiver subassembly), but if need be, I'll consider QDs.

Mahalo,
dubya

P.S.  Best review I've found, so far:
