If memory serves, it was the Democrats who left God out of their convention platform.  When they voted to amend the bylaws to add God back, something they routinely included until Obama was being reelected in 2012, the convention members actually boo-ed.  Not because God was the issue, but because the chair overrode the delegates by declaring the "Yays" passed the amendment -- but it was unmistakeable that was not the case.  In fact, they tried holding at least 2 votes when the first one didn't go their intended way at all.

Seems like the Dems only use God's name when it's politically necessary or can be used against their opponents.

Seriously, I married a pretty girl. One of the prettiest women I've ever seen anywhere any time.
But there lies the problem.
She knew she was pretty, and men were constantly chasing her.
That's not conducive to a happy marriage.
