I won’t believe hawaii could actually do this, hasn’t the Supreme Court already upheld that the 2nd amendment is an individual right?

they cannot do this
it is a resolution that they ask congress to do this
it holds no weight

I asked my husband he said basically the same thing.

I just panicked when I saw this from my sister.

Its bigger than "they cant do that". It shows what their intentions are and as reps, the wipe their ass with the bill of rights.

All the new friends we have are Pro 2A and are gun owners.
We have enough land that we can shoot off our back porch.

IF any of these "ideas" go thru,  we just might be in for the Second Civil War.....

I have two really good friends in Texas and have been meaning to visit both.  One is about an hour east of Houston and the other is somewhere near Amarillo (I think).  I'm actually headed to Houston in a couple of weeks, but just flying in there on the way to "Bumf$%k", LA.  Or at least that's what my coworker calls the place.

Lots of good gun shops in Houston. On the south side is Primary Arms on Sam Houston Pkwy. Shopped there a couple times when I was working down there in 2014-2015.

At the risk of being banned,  When we went through the fake Nuke attack scare, I thanked God
we'd be rid of Honolulu, prayed for the innocent, then kissed my wife, and opened up a beer.
You get the idea of my priorities. when faced with death.
The progressives will be the death of us all.
If you think a Hawaiian politician even has a clue about freedom,
pursuit of happiness, and life, you are sadly mistaken.

The great thing about this is when they say "nobody wants to take your guns" we can confidently look at them square in the eye and call them out for their bald faced lies.

I'm guessing their response will be "Just because we want to amend or repeal the Second Amendment doesn't mean we want to take your guns away. That doesn't logically follow. We just want to take away your Constitution-based legal protection of the right to keep and bear arms. What makes you think once that official legal protection is gone that we would then take away your guns? You gun nuts are paranoid! On the other hand, it will be difficult for us to keep a straight face from now on when we say "I support the Second Amendment..."."

And I can't wait for their comments regarding the fact that the Founders believed that those rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights were all "natural rights", "unalienable", and "endowed by our Creator", always having been present, and are in no way dependent upon the Constitution nor any other document nor act of Man. The Bill of Rights merely making perfectly clear that some of the natural rights shall not be infringed by government. Let me guess on this one: "Well, that was the 19th century...".
