Yup, only the Senate version has it.  Doesn't make a difference since it'll be stripped out.

This testimony request for SENATE JDC committee started on Friday February 21st. Anything submitted prior to that doesn't count. YOU MUST SUBMIT TESTIMONY FOR THIS IF YOU HAVEN"T SUBMITTED SINCE FEBRUARY 21ST.

The NRAILA requests are for the House floor vote are totally different and don't apply to this. Here's a chart to explain the testimonies needed for each bill.

Done. The form really makes it easy. However, still have to modify the supporting information and translate from the Queen's English sometimes.

See you on Thursday.

To my rep:

I am one of your constituents and I ask you to please oppose House Bill 1902.

Banning standard capacity mags is bad enough, but the possible ramifications of making Child Mental Health Records available to the police is absolutely horrifying.

What if a politician had developed bulimia in high school after being raped by her stepdad? Is that the kind of thing she wants the police to know when it comes time for drafting or voting on legislation that effects them?

Can you guarantee that SHOPO will not get a hold of these records and use them for political blackmail?

I remind you that if it was not for a mailbox then the feds would never have stepped in and the Kealohas would still be running their crime syndicate. That cancer may have gotten cut out, but the culture that allowed it still continues.

Being a member of the political class does not protect you from abuses of power, and in fact makes you more vulnerable in a lot of ways.

For this I ask you to strongly oppose this bill and make sure your fellows on the committee do not blindly stumble into this Orwellian nightmare as well.

The person from the Pubic Defenders office brought up this issue at the last hearing, but used more PC "keep my job" language and the implication she was hinting at seemed to go right over everyone's heads.

good job HPR this morning.  Hawaii is the only state in the nation without a assault weapon ban.  Sweet!  I had no idea.    I think I will pick up a SAW after work today.   Also background checks and presenting registration papers are not a violation of the second amendment.    Now it is exactly like when I present my religious registration papers if I want to go to church or defend myself in court.    Oh and banning mags will make us all instantly safer.   I've been so worried.

I'm so glad the media is unbiased and balanced.   I wonder how the mag ban is going to save the Pangolins and stop the chinese ivory trade!
