On our second or third date my wife made it known that she doesn’t lend money to anyone. So don’t ask. And she started asking me about my plans for the future. She was quite adamant about not dating a bum again.
I married my wife because I thought she was filthy
rich.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it.

As long as she's just "filthy", you still came out ahead!

my buddy dated the owners daughter and all she cared about was money he said so sad...

The owners daughter:    (With all due respect, She’s not hard to look at)

Mods delete if inappropriate but it’s a public Instagram account and I assume she makes money off it as the photos have the brand pop ups on some of them.

What happened to Speedy and Brian ?
And did you have to pay for a membership to buy from them at the gun show as mentioned above?

I was talking to someone recently and the supposed story was that X-Ring bought the guns at retail price somewhere else so the markup was necessary for them to make some profit and not really price gouging. Haven't confirmed the story but something to consider.

Nobody made them buy at retail.  Dealers buy with the intention to resell.  They would not have purchased at retail if they didn't count on being able to make a profit selling at even higher prices due to panic buying.

Whether it fits your definition of price gouging or not, it's still taking advantage of the pandemic to make a buck -- i.e. profiteering.  A distinction without a difference.
