Since the debate last week, the number one trending search phrase on Google has been

"Can I change my vote?"

Since there's been no real October surprise involving Trump, I can safely assume this is coming from people, for the most part, who've already submitted a ballot with Joe Biden selected for President.

Another reason why the Dems pushed so hard for mail-in and early voting.  The less you know about Biden before voting, the better for him.
"Can I change my vote?"
One of the really bad things about our system is this.
Generally about 80% of the voters are thoughtful and have made their decisions
well before the election.  Those billions are spent on the 20% who are idiots
and can't make up their minds.  I'm being as neutral here as I can be.
But our country is at the whim of someone who can't decide whether
to have a Hebrew national or Oscar Meyer hot dog for lunch and needs
a commercial to sway them either way.
That is scary. Idiots determine the direction of our country, but those are the rules.

As for the Hotdogs, personally I like both brands and buy whatever is cheaper.

my hope is that those who want to change their vote will be adamant about telling their friends/family why they made the mistake and make sure that they don't make the same mistake or to "cancel" their votes out...

My hope is that the majority of votes for Biden already cast are in Blue states.  Then  those who regret voting early for Biden won't matter in the electoral.

Would be interesting to see lawsuits in states that have early voting with no process for changing ones vote.  "Election Day" is losing its meaning and purpose.

Assuming that "trending" search is only for people wanting to vote for trump could be those who want to switch to Biden lol

Or better yet vote 3rd party cause they realize both suck.

Assuming a person voted for Trump early and now wants to switch, what, exactly, has been in the news that's changed their minds against Trump?

Or, has all the scandal about Hunter, Joe's and his families' corruption and Joe saying he wants to put millions of gas and oil industry workers out of work convinced Trump voters that's he's their President?

People in battle ground states are smarter than to waste their vote.  They either vote D or R, or don't vote at all.

Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread, or The Trump Report.

While watching The Walking Dead: World Beyond, on AMC, I saw a few political ads -- nothing really out of the ordinary.

Then a screen pops up that says "How to spot a Zombie..."

It was then followed by a montage of Biden pics and videos showing him in a very un-energetic series of takes.

I looked, but it's too new to have a video posted of it yet.  Either that, or Google blocked it for being misleading.   :geekdanc:

Nine days from the election, Joe Biden called a lid on today's campaigning at 11:47AM.  No in-person events are scheduled from now until election day.

Is Joe throwing in the towel?  Is Kamala warming up in the bullpen?  Or is this the only thing Joe can come up with -- hide and say nothing about anything?

He should have stepped down and let Bernie take the nomination.  At least he might have gotten a house out it!

Quote
Ms. Handler had previously offered to pay 50 Cent’s taxes if he changes his mind on voting for Mr. Trump.

I'm quite sure that offering anything of value in exchange for voting or to change who they want to vote for is illegal in most states.

Did she mean that as a threat if he doesn't switch to Biden?   :shake:

When they asked Julian Assagne, how come he doesn't post any dirt on Trump, his response was that there isn't any.

I remember back in 2016, the media said some stuff about Baron, but quickly stopped.  Even Chelsea Clinton came to his defense, which was good.  I give credit where it's due.
