Oh, yeah, pardon me. For a second there I forgot.

After ENRON, didn't the government pass laws requiring pension fund investments be diversified, making it just as much of a burden on private business as they did the Post Office?  The underlying purpose of the laws are to make sure the pension plans are funded, and that pensioners and current employees are not left in the lurch by another collapse that takes their pensions with them.

Seems like an even playing field to me, unless you can find a comparison that shows evidence the USPS pension fund is being saddled with more strict rules than the private sector.  I'm betting the "new USPS rules" were added around the same time as the post-ENRON rules were passed for everyone else.

Yes, private companies are required to fund pensions as well but the regulations governing the USPS take it above and beyond what the rest of private industry is required to do, it requires additional funding so it isn't really an even playing field. The article goes more in depth into this.  They also have to get permission from a commission to  raise postal rates so it is hard to compare it to the private sector.

That’s why most private companies no longer offer pensions.

“ At one time, 88 percent of private sector workers who had a workplace retirement plan had a pension. That number is now 33 percent. So what happened? Where did all the private sector pensions go? While the advent of the 401(k) certainly played a role, the true cause may have more to do with a series of laws passed from the mid-1980s to the mid-2000s. These laws had the inadvertent effect of causing the decline of defined benefit pensions.”

Fraudster attempts to register dead Americans as Dem voters in Florida

Quote
Someone appears to have attempted to register dozens of dead people as Democrats in Florida,
Steven Vancore, Broward County Supervisor of Elections spokesperson, confirmed in an emailed
statement to Fox News.

Officials in Broward County, a Democratic stronghold and Florida’s second-most populous county,
uncovered the scheme over the summer.

“Fortunately the system we have in place works, the improper registrations were flagged in a timely
manner and the information was turned over to law enforcement for prosecution,” Vancore added.
“We are also pleased to inform you that there was no attempt by this person or persons to cast a
ballot.”

Not every state has Florida's registration process to prevent bogus registrations and votes.  Florida has been upgrading theirs ever since the 2000 election debacles with hanging chads, etc.

That makes zero sense. They just trying to get votes for BIden by saying the market is rising if he's elected.  We all know it will tank if he's elected.

Unfortunately there are too many misinformed people who only watch the lamestream news.

Last night I was watching my YouTube feed and saw a clip where Biden said he is a kitchen table.  I was going to show it to my wife but within minutes, the clip had disappeared and I couldn’t search for it anymore.  Social media has joined the ranks of lamestream media.
I think, therefore I am armed.

Here is Biden saying he is a kitchen table.

I think he meant to say “at the kitchen table,”.  English, hard!

Yes clearly.  The person who didn't vote for him is at fault.  At that logic you are at fault for voting for trump and letting biden win.
