The problem here is everyone is still fighting the last war.
Hawaii just isn't that strategic anymore,  Guam is, but  we aren't.
Guam has facilities for B2's, we don't( none that I'm aware of)
ever  wonder why?  Guam has a Nuke storage area, we don't.
Chinese aren't going to waste the time or energy initially,
if at all on Hawaii.

I'd bet Martial law would be declared and all registered guns
to be confiscated. Democrats never let a crisis go to waste,
but that will be a domestic action  for a Democrats Power
grab.  Hawaiian citizens will cooperate as long as property taxes
keep the government afloat and is the largest employer,
they will comply.

I think if the government decided to come for all of your guns over there, they will be VERY disappointed. I’m going to make up these numbers just to make a point. I have no real knowledge of the real numbers. Whatever guns are completely under the radar and owned by someone completely under the radar, those firearms are unknown. Next are those firearms that have never been registered but the owner has since purchased and registered other firearms so they are known to HPD. Next there are all those firearms that are registered and owned by all those people who moved to Hawaii and then moved away and took all those firearms with them. This includes those firearms that were previously unknown and sold and were never registered. Then there are the firearms that have been registered by people that are still alive and living in the state. These are the firearms that are known and still exist. If I were to make a guess out of the million or so registered firearms in hawaii that maybe 25,000-40,00 people in the state actually own firearms at any one time. So maybe, just maybe there are only 100,000 known firearms in the state at any one time. That’s around 10% of what is known but really exists there. Again, just a guess but this will be a far cry from what they expect to collect. That also means HPD “Knows” about 900,000 firearms that don’t exist in the state any more. Don’t forget more people are leaving Hawaii right now than are moving there. I think I remember reading about 2,500 people a year average.

Because of HPD’s poor record keeping, all guns come in and none leave. After 40 years of this, how far off are their records?

Add to the list all those that got lost in boating accidents or like my handgun that fell out of my holster while riding a dirt bike on my friend's 100 acre ranch.  LEO: Why didn't you report it?  ME: Why should I? It was not stolen, just lost on private property and I am still looking for it. Maybe you can help by sending some guys with metal detectors to try and find it.

This state literally does everything it can to undermine the democratic process in Hawaii, and as a result raised generations who look favorably on corruption because it was the only way to come out ahead and not get crushed by the system. My experience at UH totally confounded me until I figured out that they were aping Maoism. The members of this forum, past and present, had a big impact into opening my eyes. The value of free speech cannot be understated, which is why the cultural Marxists hate it so much.

We had paper shredders, huge electromagnets, cans of gasoline, flares and thermite grenades that could burn through the metal disks, cabinets and the floor of the deployed computer van in seconds.

The question is only dumb if you don't know the answer.
