Trump came out too hot. Chris Wallace had a shaky voice because things got so out of control. Biden looked better than expected.

It was really fun watching Trump launch truth bombs. Wallace had to keep redirecting the conversations away from some sensitive topics like Antifa and the fact that Democrats are destroying their own cities in order to influence the election. They got Joe Biden to say Antifa is not a group, but and idea though. CNN is nailing Trump for telling the Proud Boys to "stand down" but not talking about how Biden is covering for a terrorist organization. Also Biden tried to pull the Russia card, and Trump hit back about Hunter getting millions from them and China. Then Joe tried to confuse the issue with his other son that died. CNN jumped all over that of course. "How dare he..." but nobody is asking the question about how Hunter ended up with millions despite not being qualified for anything besides snorting lines and knocking up hookers.

Trump did mention that it could be months before the election results are known due to widespread fraud. Biden pretended like it was not a thing at all, never-mind all the recent ugly examples that have popped up lately.

Blue pill people will still vote for Biden

Trumpsters are still voting for Trump, but although he could have interrupted less he does have an edge on reality. Then again he knows this whole thing comes down to soundbites, and did whatever he could to rob Biden of clear audio clips that the media could overplay. I think CNN is more upset about that than anything else.

Yep I agree. I think the pressure of having to fight Biden AND the fake news is gonna get the best of him. He seemed sort of unhinged in the beginning.

I just feel like a lot of the things that trump was hitting on will be overshadowed by his undisciplined display.

I don't like Trump all that much.
I despise Democrats.
I have already figured out my votes for this year.
I really don't think the show changed anybodies
mind, unless they are idiots.
Aloha.
That is it.

Trump needs to keep pushing the voter fraud FACTS.  Veritas has released videos this week of actual voter fraud --  people harvesting ballots, filling them out, changing them, or just tossing out the ones that are for the "wrong" candidate.  They are even paying people for their "properly" cast ballots or to just fill out the registration card and sign the ballot -- leave the boxes unchecked.

The more this issue is raised, the less likely people will believe the Dem's lies that the mail-in process is perfectly fine, and widespread fraud or "mistakes" (lots batches of ballots) is a myth.

There's a reason ONE party is pushing for sending out ballots using grossly inaccurate registration lists, and to people who care more about getting $200 for a ballot than having their vote cast for a candidate they might prefer.

Minnesota law, up until July, limited ballot harvesting to 3 ballots per person -- basically a father taking his wife's and parent's ballots with his own to be dropped off as an example.  In July, the District Court issued an injunction against that limit.  That happened just before the primaries.  Of course, it'll continue through the general.  Vertias released video of a guy bragging he had over 300 ballots in his car all for the same local candidate who, he says, paid him to collect.  Part of that money was given to voters for ballots.  Most times he could just tell women and the elderly to either vote for his guy and give him the sealed envelope, or they just signed where required and let him have the unused ballot.  This is in a mostly Somali refugee neighborhood.  Ilhan Omar's name comes up quite often.

Anyway, the more of these types of stories are made public, the more I think Trump supporters will turn out to offset the cheating that's being documented.  Even if you discount these stories as false, there are still news stories of actual cases where people have been arrested, charged and sentenced for voting multiple times using various methods.

On top of everything, the Post Office has bad actors working there who intercept large quantities of ballots.  There are documented cases of mail carriers mis-delivering, dumping, stuffing and otherwise changing ballots.  A few have been in favor of Republican candidates, but the vast majority of stories I see are for Democrats.  One woman in NC actually posted on FB that she voted for Obama twice.  Yeah, she was busted, BUT how many others have done the same?  If the system allowed her, then the system is flawed.

I was a bit disappointed that Trump kept interrupting during the 2 minute time allotment for each candidate.  Biden also did on occasion but Trump did it almost every time.

I also was disappointed that Biden wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be.

I also was disappointed that Trump ended up not looking as good as I thought he was going to be.

All in all I was very disappointed.  The debate had no class.

I think for the next debate, there needs to be a microphone tech.  When it's Trump's turn, his mic and green light are on.  When it's Biden's turn, Trump's light & mic are off, and Biden's are on.

A simple toggle switch that enables either podium A or podium B.

This is the 21st Century.  C'mon, man!  Use the thing!

If that still isn't enough, then soundproof booths .....

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing!  Or maybe if a candidate cuts into the other's time either give that candidate the time lost or penalize the violator with his time.  In other words guess what, you thought you had 2 minutes?  You have 45 seconds......

Actually, the microphone on/off thing is a good idea but I'm not sure if either candidate will like that.  Truth is, in the history of debates there always were interjections into the other candidates time, it's just natural, especially when debating sensitive and crucial issues.

But it's been a while if ever, that I have seen something like this one, lol!! ;D

He did interrupt a lot, but I saw Wallace interrupting Trump and not Biden.

Also, bring up racism with trump but not BLM with Biden?

In the words of Biden, C’mon man!

So far, your only evidence of Trump doing bad is "he interrupted."

What about the substance of Trump's comments?

Which facts did Biden "fuck up?"

Biden has a habit of not knowing where the comma and decimal belong in the "facts" he uses.

Biden used the NYT fake news to accuse Trump of only paying $750 in income taxes for 2016 and 2107.

If you read the unsourced NYT article, way, way, WAY down near the end, they admit that Trump paid $1M in 2016 and $4.2M in 2017, even though he only owed $750 each year.  The difference between Joe's claim that he paid $1,500 and the truth is $5,198,500.  Any additional income tax he paid was to be applied to future tax liability.

How does what Trump paid in taxes (or overpaid) in any way related to the issues being debated tonight?  It just shows how Biden will use fake news to win the election.

The debate was a waste of time and I probably wouldn't watch the next one.   Too much yelling and all parties involved trying to overtalk each other, especially Trump.  He needs to just shut up at times.  Chris Wallace could not control the debate.

It was a shit show.
Hilarious.
SNL couldn’t have planned it better.
It was like watching two drunk uncles at Thanksgiving.

As my 17 year old son said: “It’s a two way roast, not a debate.”

I don’t think it influenced voters one way or the other.
Just solidified opinions and sides.
