That's true.  If they did force confiscation there would be civil war.  They might do a ban on purchase.  But I have a feeling the courts would overturn. Anything would have to get passed so unless they have all 3  that's moot.  If they pack the court and have all 3 then we fucked till the Republicans win from the utter rage.

This is also a delicate subject.  Many of us are aware of the infringements and stuff the state does to us.  But we need to take baby steps depending on the attitude of the new gun owner.  We don't want to overrun them with info that might make them think we're some crazy gun guy.

Example:
My coworkers husband wants to buy guns due to the riots going on.  He found out he has to wait not only due to the back order from COVID, but also the HPD system.  It's been a month and she asked why it takes so long.  I was able to lightly dive into how HI is the only state with a registration of all firearms and the process pre COVID.  And now with COVID, it's 10x worst. She was pretty upset and amazed how stupid HI gun laws are.  I didn't even get into mag bans, to and from law, CCW/OC denials, etc... I'll wait until she ask.
