I had a Rolling rock and aspirin( for my Knee) this AM.
Mow and spray weed killer planed for the afternoon.
That is acres of mowing and hundreds of line of fencing.

Is Rolling Rock a BI thing? An “unko” (my buddy’s uncle) lives in Waimea and sucks up Rolling Rock. Even when he comes to Oahu, lots of a variety of beer, but he insists on going to Longs and picking up his Rolling Rock.

My fave was Kokanee. Even better was the version sold in Canada. Labatts in Canada was awesome stuff too. US version was bleh.

Most countries export crap to the US.
Canadian Labatts was much better than American.
The real biggie was San Miguel domestic,  that was good beer!
The crap they shipped to America was criminal.
Same with Guinness.
I'd love to get some Domestic Beck's dark.

Today I took my new for me 80 year old Hi-Standard to the range to shoot it for the first time. It took about 20-30 rounds for it to smooth out and run reliably. And accurate as could be. A walk back thru history with this one. I put about 200 rounds thru it. I think I have a new favorite pistol. After I cleaned it I ran about 300 rounds of my newly powder coated boolits thru the sizer. I prepared my next mold for casting boolits for my Romanian Tokarev tomorrow. I had a lot of emails and texts I had to reply to for my business. And now I am waiting for my home inspector to call to go over the inspection on a home I am buying. And in between I am insulting the Millennial Twit. Been a pretty full day for me.

Been a long time since I took some “R” with a few beers. I have not seen Henry’s Dark for a long time. I get good craft beer out here so now I’m spoiled.

No, I’m doing a 1031 Exchange. Selling my rental house in Peoria and buying one in Queen Creek. The house I am selling I have owned for 15 years. Normally I keep them around 18 years before I do an exchange but this home has been not made as much money for me as I would have liked. Since the market in Phoenix is so hot right now I figure I’ll take advantage of it now and do the exchange while the market is hot.

I wish I shot as well as it does!

Turns out there is a long list of items to be fixed by the owner. I’m sure they’ll fix the stuff cuz we did an off market sale and I’m basically a cash buyer. They are kind of in a position created by themselves. So I think they’ll fix everything I am going to ask for. This is my first off market deal. I’ll get a higher monthly rent for the new place. And won’t pay any tax (it is deferred) on the sale of my present home due to the exchange.

Forgot to say I was told I’ll have at least one cash offer in hand by tomorrow. I’m hoping for at least 2. We’ll see.
