Rather than all of us endlessly calling our local gun stores I thought you guys might be able to report what you're finding when you drop in to visit, or if any of our dealers might want to post what they still have in stock and prices.  Hopefully this gets some traction.  Thanks in advance.

I didn’t check ammo, but at sec:
Had a lot of powder
Had large pistol and large rifle primers
Had small magnum primers -  I think it was for pistol

For ammo I would call ahead if possible, even then, people are going into panic mode, buying cases, so in the 1 hour between your call and arrival, one or two people of the 10 in line could zero out the item you want

(At j Hara during their sale, I tried to get 6 cases of 22 but they only had 2 cases and 7 bricks.  Yes I’m one of those that are panicking - but it’s my family’s fault that they all decided to suddenly take up shooting)

If you plan on paying with a credit card (don't mind paying the 3% CC fee), you can call most shops and pay in advance if they have what you want.  Saves you from  that "Last case just walked out the door" disappointment.

Debit cards can save you the 3% fee, but you don't want to use them over the phone unless you don't mind giving them your card's PIN. Only do this if you're a gambler!

OGC used to do that a lot when they posted ammo sales.

CC was accepted for phone orders, but not Debit.  Pick your purchase up when convenient.

What time you go?  Thought they opened @ 7.  Got there before 830 and didnt want to wait till 9.  Thought they would have more than that being advertised.

I heard the indoor ranges increased prices.  808 Gun Club is $30 for a box of 9mm, and Xring is $47.

Sort of like the SM groups that were posting what items of interest in stock and where.  Pretty good info for folks that are tighter on time and/or supply.

Another one is "you get extra", but that's what the Classifieds for. 

Already covered was SEC.  Went there over the weekend and they had ammo, just not anything I was looking for. 

Went by HGS over the weekend as well, but they had a line outside waiting to get in, so I didn't stop by.  May try to run by there this week during off hours.

$30 isn't too bad because the pre Corona prices were $26 for each.  For me personally, I refuse to pay more than $20 for ammo at an indoor range.  Exception is CCW practice before a trip to Vegas.  808GC allows CCW draw and you don't have to take a class to "qualify".  They just watch you for a few mins to make sure you're safe.

SEC is good at calling customers when ammo comes in.  I put my name on their list for 9 and 223 and got calls each time.

Yup.  He mentioned that he would post ammo on IG today.  Expect LONG lines.  Also he doesn't answer the phone, so sent him an email or DM on IG.

As of 13:50 HGS only had a handful of 9mm boxes left. Tried calling for pricing before driving down but no answer, but also didn’t want to miss out. Had I known the price, probably would’ve passed, but since I’m there... lol

BTW guys, you probably want to post the name of the store in your post since we don't know what you're talking about.

I went to 808 Gun Club  today, pretty busy there.  Caveat to their $30 box of 9mm, you can only buy one box of 50rnds per party.  My 2 friends shot there this morning and split a box of 50 rounds.  Was a very quick range session.
