Herd immunity, it happens below 90% but if you get to 90% you are pretty safe. As usual, biggest issue with the statement was auto correct.
Okay, I have to unignore you on this one.
Did autocorrect type "kicks in?" If not, the THE BIGGEST ISSUE WITH YOUR STATEMENT is not "heard", it's that the FACTS you are pushing are WRONG.
My post, WHICH YOU GAVE A LIKE TO, says verbatim:
It also means 50% to 67% of the population would need to be resistant
before herd immunity kicks in and the infection rates start to
go down.
You said:
Heard immunity kicks in if 90 or 95% of the population has the vaccine.
You were wrong on two fronts.
First, herd immunity includes the total of the population that has immunity -- not just from vaccinations, but also from having had the virus. There's no reason to give vaccines to the almost 30% of the population that's already been infected and recovered.
Second, WebMD contradicts you when you say it
KICKS IN at 90% - 95% of the population being vaccinated. Whether you meant to state vaccinated vs immunized by vaccine AND prior infection doesn't matter. Neither is going to be a 90%+ threshold for herd immunity to "kick in."
Just stop trying to lecture us on something you can't seem to Google properly.
