Paul Joseph Watson specifically addressing the latest Tier 4 lockdown in Britain, but the same reasoning applies to the situation in the U.S.: Lying egomaniac tyrants exercising power with little, or no, incentive to stop.

If these numbers are anywhere close to accurate, and if it's unlikely to change much in the future, there is no possible way the the herd immunity level of immunization will ever take place, especially if morons and liars like Fauci keep upping the percentage required (90%? 95%? 105%?). I.e. Masks, anti-social distancing, limited gathering size and eligible participants, closed/restricted businesses, etc., etc., etc. FOREVER. The Safety Cult rules! Because, you know, THE VIRUS!!! Utter insanity.

The non believers can just all get sick and perhaps die then we can reach the 90% new goal.

So based on new data he increased his estimate from 60% to 90% and that makes him a liar?

Is like mainstream news. If you kept a running tally of all the times they lied and ended up with egg on their face you would not take them seriously as a reliable source of information. Instead they say "okay moving on" and the remaining audience asks no questions and gets back in line like nothing happened. Just like uncle George Orwell said.
Sharing is caring, but forced redistribution is communism.

Or science changes and corrects itself over time?  There could be new tests showing that a higher number is needed for herd immunity.  Doesn't mean the science was wrong before.  Its not a set thing on something so unknown.

Early on while the vaccines were just talk, Fauci estimated that it would be "fortunate" if any of them turned out to be 60-70% "effective". Now, what would be the percentage of the population that would need to be vaccinated if even 100% got vaccinated at a 60-70% rate of efficacy? Now the vaccines have come in (according to the data supplied by the manufacturers) at 95% and 94% efficacious and Fauci is raising the percentage level of population needed to achieve herd immunity? LOL! That makes no sense at all. It's simple math. Or, he's a liar and/or incompetent. If you listened to the Tom Woods interview with Dr. Battacharya of Stanford, when he was asked how Fauci could make so many erroneous statements contradicting the known science, Battacharya put it as tactfully and diplomatically as he could, but in essence he said Fauci's either uninformed or incompetent or deliberately misinforming people for some reason.

Or he is trying to get everyone vaccinated so you don't have a bunch of people going eh I don't need to get it someone else probably did.  Thus never reaching herd immunity.  When he made those statements it was very early on.  Perhaps new data is out?  There is a new mutation in England.  Perhaps because its supposed to be more infectious we need a higher amount of people vaccinated?  Its not all evil Fauci's fault...

California (and mostly New York and New Jersey, and Illinois is close): near total lockdown.

Florida: Virtually totally open. Schools open for months. Restaurants (no masks, no social distancing, no restricted capacity, indoor service), theaters, concerts, all businesses open. No state mask mandate, no anti-social distancing requirements, no gathering restrictions on size, location, or participants. Etc.

Must be due to all the iguanas falling out of the trees during the cold spell.

Different states, different circumstances. Population densities and millions of other variables.  Its not apple to apples comparison.

However in my experience, especially when dealing with "Progressives",
Perception is far more compelling than facts and data.
Guess who runs the states that are dramatically on the up slope?

Don't know enough about those states to comment on that.  The best study would be to have one variable.  Or as few as possible.

The truth over pseudo science.

It is for this reason I am not currently in CA visiting family.

I hope Newsom gets recalled for the crap he is pulling over on CA.
