One can be proved,  scientifically through a test.  Is there a machine that someone can blow on to measure awakeness?

True seatbelts just save lives, one could argue that if people get into an accident the other party doesn't feel the emotional pain of killing someone.  But that's a fair point I'll remove that from the impact to other category and is just plain health reason.

Boy, you sure do love to be right, even if you have to play Twister to try and win points.

Are you really saying that we should only protect the public safety against things we can scientifically measure and prove?

"Awakeness" .... is that even a word?  Sobriety and alertness are measured the same way -- through a series of tests for balance, dexterity, etc.  The BAC test measured by blood draw or breathalyzer does not measure if you are sober.  It only measures if you have alcohol in your system and what % by volume.  You can blow a .13 on a breathalyzer and still pass all the sobriety tests perfectly.  Some people are not as mentally impaired as others at a given level of intoxication.

So, no.  You can't scientifically measure sobriety and then claim you can't use the same tests for alertness based on sleep.  It doesn't work that way.

lol.   Why?  Nothing is wrong with getting the vaxx even if prior infected...  whos these lots of people?   I know of 0 people who had any "bad" effects from the vaxx.  I work with many hundreds of people and 0.

FYI antibody test is far more expensive.

so your 0 "bad" effects is valid, but flapp's 0 covid 19 people is not?

#health

Same reason why I am forcing others not to smoke near me so I don't have a higher risk of smoking related death.   Same reason I force everyone to drive sober.  Same reason I force everyone to wear a seatbelt.  Etc etc etc.   If your decisions impact others its no longer truly your freedom.  Its not like guns and speech and other freedoms that have no chance to hurt someone un-intended.

please show how YOU are forcing others to not smoke near you
please show how YOU are forcing everyone to drive sober
please show how YOU are forcing everyone to wear a seatbelt
Etc etc etc.

Awakeness is what you are required to have to get a 3.7 at a reputable private school...

My bad.  I thought that required "wokeness".

I value the court system and the justice system.  Things must be arbitrarily proven.   Else its left to "feelings".   And no if you blow over .08 unless I've been wrong my whole life even if you pass the sobriety test, that's illegal.

And to my knowledge sobriety test is very inaccurate.  While a blood test is very accurate.   there is no highly accurate test to measure alertness/awakeness or whatever word you wish to use.

I haven't looked it up tbh.  It keeps changing with the variants.  Too many factors.   Changing of definitions of covid deaths vs vaxx deaths. Not equipped enough to argue this.  Not a scientist.  At this point I am waiting for the peer reviewed results long term.

So why use the analogy (incorrectly btw) that the continuing of our nation is at risk if we dont do something about covid?

Again, zero facts. Just feelings. Same thing, different day.

Im not looking for an exact number, but google a rough ballpark. I wont hold u wrong, unless youre way off. Ill allow it. Even google will be allowed. But there is a diff between 1% and 50%, then i will point out your error.

Then multiply that rate by the total US population. And tell me if your anology of the continuing of our country is still at risk.

OG is the communist.  He thinks anything you do that has the potential to impact others in any way should justify violating your protected freedoms.

When you point out how Constitutional Rights are being ignored, Medical ethics are being ignored, centuries of Law are being ignored and his answer is very often 'I dont mind' and implying or even straight out saying its for a 'greater good' is exactly why totalitarians love the Useful Idiots.

At some point they will go after something Dummy does care about ... but then it will be way way too late.

Not really the risk is there but exactly how much I am not qualified to answer.  I trust in the government and the scientists.

So making a statement/analogy.

Asking stats to back up statement/analogy.

Dodges question for many post worth, hoping i would forget.

Answers, but states he isnt qualified or no proof.

Given option of posting ballpark figure and not exact %.

Still denies to post above.

Thank you for proving my point. I know the rate, i wanted u to post it. A simple google of it will provide the answer in 3 seconds. But when said answer doesnt back up what you posted, refer back to the top of this post.

Btw, still didnt admit said analogy is incorrect. I dont expect you to and neither does anyone here because we all know how your cycle goes. With this and many other topics.

There is no need to respond to this post. We all saw what the point of it is.
