I think there will be eventually. That type of process will take a little while to set up.
For starters you would need to make sure all US territories and states recognize all other state's vaccine cards
Then there would be issues of people forging vaccine cards.

I don't know how fast they are vaccinating people but I would hope they can get this figured out and put in place within a month.

If u dont need a vaxx card to travel, work, eat,etc... no one will be forging them.

When the government tells you to close or not make money, that's a problem. When they tell you u cannot have 1a and 2a rights because of covid, thats a problem. Only after lawsuits and many complaints were gun stores allowed to open and churches allowed to hold modified service. If no one complained, both would be closed.

To be clear I am referring to mandatory closings in general as a policy. I certainly have problems with some of the ways that it was carried out though.

I would expect a drop in travel and revenue, but not as huge as it is from march to now, if we didnt close off tourism. The BS 14 day quarantine has a trickle down effect too. I and many others didnt go to vegas because of the BS proclamations.

We average about 30k in tourist arrivals a day pre covid. March and on was about 1k a day. Now its about 11k avg a day.

I agree that the hit probably wouldn't have been as bad financially. The biggest thing I would worry about would be the death rate if our medical services were overwhelmed.

Taiwan and other countries can do as they please. They do not have a 1a, 2a, or constitution like we do.

That doesn't really address the issue I raised though. What do you think they got right that saw them getting to open back up again and would you trade that for us to be open back up so much quicker?

My first trip there, we were in a private car and passed thru a dui check point. Every driver had to blow to pass thru. Can hpd do that? Or do u need probable cause 1st? And out breathalizers suck. Theirs was just 1 hard blow, like blowing out 2 candles on a cake and done. Not the blow, keep blowing, almost there type of tech.

From my understanding HPD cannot do that. Cops can stop cars at checkpoints but can't do mandatory breath tests.
