Remember the next time a pro-choice advocate says we need to “fight” for reproductive rights they are inciting violence.

Dayum !

Double dotted.  :( ()

Did I just get hit with Cancel Culture for a thought provoking question ?   8)

Was storming the Capitol the Boston Tea Party of our time ?
And is insurrection always bad when it is non-violent and all legal avenues have been exhausted?  (Although the videos coming out are pretty violent in the initial storming.)

Context is pretty important.

If for months they lied that doctors were forcefully aborting poor innocent blobs out of women got a huge angry crowd and then said for everyone to go to a nearby hospital where it's "occuring".  And to "fight". And the crowd riots in the hospital.   Then yes, that's insighting violence

Reminds me of "pizza gate".  Where qanon lied for months.  Got everyone all angry. Then one day some idiot showed up to the place armed.

I look at it this way, a lot more would have been done for our nation if the DNC didn't fight him kicking and screaming at everything he wants to do.  How much time and effort was wasted on many things that could have been redirected toward the betterment of our nation?

The same could be said about Obama as well though. My point here is that both sides are guilty of this type of thing, neither has their hands clean here.

I think the left/DNC is the reason for all of this.  Trump is the only one with the balls to call them out and not give in to their BS.  I bet anyone else would have caved and played ball with the left to avoid all the attacks and BS.  To me that makes him a great leader.  Just my 2 cents.

The left has been building the fire slowly over time but Trump poured gas on it. I consider neither side innocent.

Trump got it far worst than barry. At least the fake news had his back to cover for him.

He got more votes than any standing president ever, so a lot of people disagree with that statement. The reasons he is not legally culpable is that you cannot charge people for crimes that happen in your own imagination.

The reason that he cannot be legally culpable is because he didn't specifically call for violence. Trump is either smart enough or lucky enough to make his comments vague enough that they wouldn't amount to a criminal act.

However not everyone who voted for Trump necessarily defends his actions and statements leading up to the riot, but you are correct, I am sure many Trump supporters would disagree with my moral assessment.

My Bad CMO.
It just immediately followed so the assumption was made...  :shaka:

And Trump is not culpable.
No more than all the talking heads who said that the riots in the cities were justifiable. And there were quite a few of them.

Trump got it harder from the news, I would agree with this but the right leaning media still did similar things to Obama. Both sides are guilty. Steal $1,000 and it is worse than stealing $900 but both have wronged.

I can't believe where this country is headed. Maybe I'm naive. But those people are crazy.

Not even close what the fake news did to trump for over 4 years compared to the worst any media did to barry or any other president. The fake news even treated Jodie Arias better. Probably let her baby sit too.

Tucker made some good points.  Republicans might have messed up a bit.

Not to mention he literally said “I know you will be marching to the capitol peacefully and patriotically to make your voices heard.”

I stand corrected, guess he did.

Not sure if one line of his whole speech automatically amolishs everything else he said though
