If there was concensus between government and scientists.  Yes I would.   One biased study/s does not count.   You would have to factor all scenarios.  For home defense, defense of country,  Hobby.   Then correlate that with my ownership and possibilities.  What chance does a criminal stand to defeat locks, condo security,  and a safe.   Also a criminal stealing guns and using them is no fault of my own.   It would be like if someone stole covid viles and used it as a bio weapon.   Vs my ability to cluelessly spread covid.   Last time I checked is impossible to clueless spread bullets.

Good luck.   Covid was a much easier study.

U stated if a vaxx helps 0.01% its a no brainer. So im just redirecting that same train of thought for gun safety. It doesnt matter what security you have. There is always a chance.

It isnt 1 biased study, try many. They pop up every legislative session. And there is a concensus. Read every anti 2a bill presented. Its usually in the first few pages/paragraphs.

U state home defense, what about the others who may get hurt by your stolen guns? Don't they have rights to be safe?

1 can cluelessly spread bullets. 2 days ago, an ewa man had a negligence discharge while cleaning his gun. The bullet went into his neighbors bathroom. If used for self defense, do u have 100% concrete? Zero windows or drywall or wood? Doesn't others have the right to be safe from your use for self defense and if u miss the bad guy?

Do u see the faulty logic  in your vaxx mentality if used similarly to firearms? Goal post moved to "factor in scenerios".  This is a rhetorical question and my point was made. There is no need to reply as this has now gone off topic.

none of those are studies
those are articles
focus

and you should further focus and actually read what you google
"It is important to know that no study to date has specifically evaluated the coronavirus vaccine in pregnant and lactating women, though there have been a few pregnant women who were inadvertently enrolled in the vaccine trials."
"The World Health Organization (WHO) states they do not have any reason to believe there will be specific risks that would outweigh the benefits of vaccination for pregnant women."
U beat me to it. At least my links were .gov or direct from the makers of the vaxx. Not an interview of a person who said they did research.

Does he not wear a crash helmet and a 3 point harness while driving his car? It would DRASTICALLY lower his chances of a injury IF he were involved in an accident.  and by a LOT more than a percent or two. Does he wear custom doctor fitted NR plugs and  34 NR muffs over them when shooting? Does he make sure not to take a bench anywhere near another shooter? Safety is important.

I do double ear pro.  Is that common?  My car does not come with a 3 point harness.  Benches are spread apart decently, but yes I do prefer ones not near anyone but not only safety but practical sense too.

It is common to wear double.

1 can install more secure seat belts. What's the cost compared to improving your chance of living by 0.01%?  Same goes with a helmet. Now you would be at 0.02% increase for survival.

Different kind of helmet. . .

Regarding the whole infertility, can’t get pregnant thing.
Anyone post studies ?
There’s no semi-reliable studies either way.
Personally I think that’s a load of shibai someone made up.

Regarding the efficacy and side affects of the vaccine, that’s TBD.

Nobody knows, and we will have to wait until 9 months after the heard gets vaccinated and starts popping out babies to get an idea. What we know for certain is that we have been deliberately lied to and were denied informed consent regarding the many many other dangers.

Personally, sterilization isnt on my radar. But birth defects are. Why would pfizer and moderna begin clinical trials this year if trials from 2020 are proven safe?

Smoking or booze doesnt 100% cause defects, but increases the odds. And both werent known for decades.

Thalidomide comes to mind as a horrifying example of the importance of stage 3 trials

U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is now recommending #COVID19 vaccination to pregnant women based on a "new analysis."

According to Dr Drew there is a VERY VERY short list of drugs safe to give to pregnant women, Hydroxychloroquine  is one of the few.

Fauci and Walensky are out of the damn minds.

I would strongly discourage my wife from getting it if she were pregnant.
But I would want her to get it post birth.
Baby gets antibodies by breast ?
That’s just me.

We do know that the spike proteins cross the blood/brain barrier.

I heard on 102.7 (yup, highly factual reporting) that studies also show it can lead to ED. . .  :shake:

IDK, but anything the mom ingest transfers to the baby. Who knows about injections.

PFizers study began in feb 2021 and Moderna in April 2021 of pregnant women.  And it's a 3 year study. I didn't check J&J.

Lots of fear mongering going on both sides of the aisles lately regarding the vaccine. After some further research myself I’ve found myself leaning towards getting it. So what does everyone here think?

I did get the vaccine but I waited a while. I am also pretty sure I had covid back in Feb 2020 and I am relatively healthy so I am not in a high risk group and probably had some resistance already. The uncertainties of a vaccine approved in a record short amount of time and using a new(ish) form of medical technology did and still does cause me concern. I just hope to god this thing doesn't cause serious health problems for the younger generations. I did wonder, what if this vaccine was designed to do what Thanos did, wipe out half the population randomly. Every other dose has something that would kill us later or sterilize us.

But when I look at the numbers, if we take it simply as a gamble, then the vaccine is far far safer than catching covid.

I listened to both sides, the hard core vaccine pushers and the anti-vaxers but when I looked at just the data and listened to sources who appeared to be unbiased and reliable it is hard to argue against taking the vaccine. The vaccine pushers are preachy, annoying, and overly scared of covid but the anti-vaxers (generally) have arguments that are so often scientifically wrong or ignorant (though sometimes reasonable on the surface)

I am strongly against the government forcing the vaccine on anyone but I do support carrot approaches to get more people vaccinated. The one thing that does scare me is if hospitals are overrun by serious covid infections and that prevents me from obtaining some needed medical help. I will say that I am still hesitant to let my children get the vaccine.

I just heard a local doctor (OBGYN I think) covering this subject. She explained that the placenta destroys RNA(mRNA?) so the vaccine can't make it to the baby in utero however antibodies can make it through so the baby will have the benefit of already having antibodies when born. She strongly advised pregnant women to get the vaccine, said the numbers of pregnant women with covid went way up locally. (can't recall if they just tested positive or were admitted)

If my understand is correct, the initial trials were limited to people in certain categories so the "proven safe" is for certain groups. That is why it isn't yet approved for young kids.

So additional trials may be underway to study certain other groups like certain age groups or people with certain medical conditions, etc.
