When it is done unevenly, sure.
It isn't that I trust the media all the time but I try not to cast doubt just on sources that might contradict my position or conception. Sure, the media can misinform us whether intentionally, negligently, or through no fault of their own but I don't just toss it all out the window either. A good news source will link to the original report. When it came to the information about vaccine side effects happening mostly shortly after being given the dose I read about it and heard a doctor explain it, it wasn't just some headline. I try to avoid headlines because they are so often misleading.
We covered this in the covid thread, but basically why should 1 trust the lying media now when for the past 5 years they made stuff up. Russia, ukraine, sex assault, etc....The boy who cried wolf example.
Then why trust gov agencies who have and can be weaponized against trump supporters. Flynn, Stone, etc...
This is why myself and others dont trust whats being told on TV. Then add in the cdc being wrong multiple times. And the excuse for them is cause covid is new. So they can make no mistakes nor be held accountable.
I wont get too much into it here due to it being covered already, feel free to read the covid thread for more details. Idk exactly where.
