The Gods Must Be Crazy (I think 1 and 2)

I recall them being super funny when I was younger.  Still funny, but not quite a much so when older.

Blazing Saddles is another in that same category.

Almost everything Mel Brooks did takes a a frontal lobotomy to appreciate and find hilarious.

I love Young Frankenstein.  The actors were superb.  And the puns and "inside" jokes were what held it together.

"Give him the sed-a-give?!"

"What knockers!"

"Frau Blücher!"  [Horses winny in the distance]

"Put .... zee candle ... beck!"

"Abby ..... someone."

What are some movies are so stupid, you have to laugh?

One of my favorites is Army of Darkness. It’s on HBO as I type this. I would say a guilty pleasure, but that move has some classic lines and cracks me up.

We just watched Mr. Bean in the past few years, after seeing Rat Race.  Now I understand who he was at the London Olympics performance.  Benny Hill is good too.
 I didn't make it past the scene where the knight is getting his limbs chopped off. ?

That was merely a "flesh wound" .   

This and Elf were 2 films of his that I didn't enjoy.  But last week I watched Elf again and did enjoy it. I might have to give Kickin & Screaming another go.

But to be fair, I am listing to X-Mas music in my car and various X-mas genre's like Xmas rock, Xmas classical, xmas movies/TV, etc... So far Xmas rock is my fav.

maybe Kicking and Screaming was a slow starter, but it's a funny movie once it gets going


another Will Farrell movie i like, and its a car movie, although I'm not a big NASCAR fan. I'm more of a NHRA fan, or IMSA/grand AM racing.
