So if no official declaration was ever given, then wouldn't China then be attacking itself?  No different if Japan were to attack Kyoto.  Kyoto has a different name from Japan, but still part of Japan.

Sounds like goal post moving to me.

Taiwan isn't part of China.   It would be like if Japan attacked Taiwan or Korea.  Former colonies.

Tell China that.  Diplomatically the US recognizes the "One China Policy".  So does other nations.

Only in "name" in all practical measures taiwan is independent.    They have their own elections, government, military,  culture. The list could go on.  Only thing they don't really have is official government relations.

Taiwan are not commies they are friends. Ukraine isn't Russia same idea.

This still doesn't make Taiwan not part of china legality wise.

A product from Taiwan is usually of far superior quality to similar Chinese goods, which signifies a major difference. It would be a shame to lose access to such a high quality manufacturing base, but we've decided to throw trillions at a proxy war in eastern europe where we have no national interest other than to try and break up Russia and strip them of resources.

Looks like Tucker is going to interview Zelensky

Given the Ukrainian coke head's penchant for disappearing reports I hope he comes back alive.

Sending billions in aid to a corrupt nation.  Wonder how much, if any, of those billions are ending up in corrupt hands right here at home.

Taiwan's status is ambiguous and it goes back and forth.  Indigenous people ruled Taiwan, China took over,  Japan took over, China took over, China became communist, Taiwan ruled China, then Taiwan gave up ruling China.  A number of Taiwanese want to be ruled by China while a number don't and number kinda wants to but kinda doesn't.  Vast majority of nations sees Taiwan as belonging to China but kinda doesn't.

It all comes down to the microchips.

What is Trump's plan for Ukraine?  I see Trump wanting to end the war quickly while not giving into the Russians.  He can increase the support to Ukraine while reducing restrictions on weapon use in Russia.  All the while pushing Ukraine and Russia to the negotiations table.  I see Russia keeping Crimea and part of what they have in Eastern Ukraine.  Ukraine won't like it, but they'll face the eventual drawdown of support if not.

Quote
Two key advisers to Donald Trump have presented him with a plan to end
Russia's war in Ukraine - if he wins the Nov. 5 presidential election - that
involves telling Ukraine it will only get more U.S. weapons if it enters peace
talks.

The United States would at the same time warn Moscow that any refusal to
negotiate would result in increased U.S. support for Ukraine
, retired Lieutenant
General Keith Kellogg, one of Trump's national security advisers, said in an interview.
Under the plan drawn up by Kellogg and Fred Fleitz, who both served as chiefs
of staff in Trump's National Security Council during his 2017-2021 presidency,
there would be a ceasefire based on prevailing battle lines during peace talks,
Fleitz said.

They have presented their strategy to Trump, and the Republican presidential
candidate responded favorably, Fleitz added. "I'm not claiming he agreed with
it or agreed with every word of it, but we were pleased to get the feedback we
did," he said.

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said only statements made by Trump or
authorized members of his campaign should be deemed official.

The problem with this view is your presumption that Russia will kowtow to the demands of the US empire.  Russia is in a war with Ukraine and already in an indirect war with the US empire; hence, the Power Okole ensured that there would be only two outcomes moving forward: Russian victory or Russian defeat.  The Russian people all understand what is at stake and are ready to fight the US empire to the bitter end should the war escalate further.

Should Trump get elected, he has no leverage to make any deal unfavorable to Russia.  Russia has already been kicked out of the US imperial financial system and economically blacklisted by all of its vassal states.  The only geopolitical options left for Trump is either Ukrainian defeat, further Ukrainian escalation, or weaken Russian support by beginning delusional proxy wars against China via the Philippines, Taiwan. etc. which was what the Power Okole ultimately wanted in the first place.

Who knows how long Ukraine can hold on to the land in the Kursk region of Russia.
It looks like Ukraine is still holding on and has defeated a Russian counter attack.
This area could become a bargaining chip for Ukraine.

The sad situation of the citizens trapped in the area was covered in an earlier broadcast
by the youtuber Insiderussia. The people had no idea of the invasion until the war reached
their home land. It looks like the Putin regime is lying to Russians just like the Biden/Harris admin.
Dictators cannot tell the truth to their people.

IDK how Ukraine winters are, but if they're similar to Russian ones, then they have a chance.  Throughout history, Russia has let armies invade their land, then waited until winter to attack.

Name the last time anyone successfully invaded Russia. The same thing that always happens is about to happen again.
