Everyone needs to stop blaming Biden for everything. The senile old fool could have already passed away and the Biden that everyone sees could very well be a decrepit body double or AI generated image when seen on camera.
It has and have always been the US empire led by the Power Okole behind the scenes running the show and are now throwing the whole World into WWIII to save what's left of their dominion. Even if the planet makes it to January 20th of next year, the Power Okole can still get rid of Trump, blame it on Iran, Russia, China, DPRK, etc., and continue the march towards Armageddon.
The buck stops with the President, especially in matters of national security and foreign relations. Those are the main reasons we have a President at all.
Whether he's at fault for the failures within his administration is not the issue. by virtue of holding the office, he is 100% responsible.
If we give him a pass because he's losing it in his old age, then he should not have been there in the first place.
Someone here (we know who) posted a couple of days ago referencing "checks and balances." In this case, Congress should have been a check on the decisions coming out of Biden's Ukraine efforts. While we are not technically in a war with Russia ourselves, we are still engaged in war nonetheless. Biden should have had to present his rationale for supporting Ukraine in that war OUTSIDE OF UN AND NATO PARTICIPATION, to have it shutdown after 60 days as the law requires.
The problem we have is there are too many lawyers running the country. Biden placed the majority of deployed US troops in European NATO countries away from the actual fighting. Technically our troops are not engaging in or stationed within hostilities associated with the war. Sending money also isn't addressed as engaging in war. As long as his actions don't cross the line specified in the War Powers Act, Congress will refuse to intervene. In fact, Congress is approving the billions being sent to aid in the war, so they wouldn't intervene even if the law specifically allowed them to.
So, there really is no checks and balance to prevent a President from committing the US to assisting in wartime efforts of other countries. He can do what he wants as long as Congress keeps borrowing money and handing it to him.
If Congress were to object to this waste of money, they can either cut off funding or impeach Biden. They can also attempt to remove him under the 25th amendment. Congress has to have had suspicions about Biden's mental issues long ago, but they did what the Party told them to do and kept quiet.
