So what is the solution? Too many people grumbling - not enough real solutions. Run for office?
Since the current state of America is that of a declining global empire in-denial, the first step is to acknowledge that fact and begin a geo-political return to its Constitutional republic roots.

For starters, I would suggest:
1. Closing down all of its military bases abroad and restructuring its military into becoming the greatest purely defensive military establishment in the World.
2. De-occupying all territories that are not Constitutionally a part of the US nation state.
3. Begin a nationwide retrenchment strategy of building up industries that makes exclusive use of its legal domestic labor workforce.
4. Enact government fiscal policies that fund meaningful education that prepares its youth for productive nationwide full-employment.
5. Militarize its continental borders to prevent unauthorized entrance into its territory.
6. Abolish the federal reserve bank and return national currency control to the federal government.

What is ironic of the oversimplified list above is that it essentially echoes China's main political and economic policies that have contributed to its ascension into becoming the first most economically dominant superpower that did not resort to imperial military interventions, domestic coups, illegal occupation, instigated revolutions, or the weaponization of its currency and interest rates to get there.

How do you know China wants the US empire to replicate its own road to economic superpower success?

If I were China, Russia, India, the Global South, etc., I want the US empire to commit their vastly dwindling resources to maintain their current imperial geo/political/economic policies that they no longer are able to financially sustain.  In doing so, the US empire's eventual economic collapse and Balkanization will be absolutely assured.

Having beem overseas.  I'll say this, I'd rather blow the shit out of a Japanese city than fight in down town Honolulu.
I bet you feel the same.
Isolationism  doesn't work .

I like some of your ideas, but most seem all Government centric.
Which I reject.
I'm a personal freedom sort of guy.  Government is supposed to work for me
not me working for it.
We should be self independent, fior industry, energy, food, resources, national defense et al.
but it isn't any government that will do that for us.
Not a Hawaiian government or a "USA empire".

at least these people are doing something about the US "Empire"
https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2023/01/19/hawaiian-activist-who-disrupted-legislative-opening-session-faces-misdemeanor-charge/

The man who shouted at lawmakers and first responders during the opening session of the state Legislature on Tuesday is Samson Souza — a known Native Hawaiian activist in West Oahu.

He faces a misdemeanor charge for disrespect of a House of the Legislature after interrupting House Speaker Scott Saiki’s opening remarks.
Hawaii Legislature opens its new session with a return of pageantry ― and big crowds

During his outburst, Souza said, “This our home. We first kanaka maoli, we first you guys talking about money.”

Deputy Sheriffs had to pull him away after he fell while hanging onto a banister. He was taken away in an ambulance after complaining that he couldn’t breathe.

In ushering in the multipolar World, Hawaiian nationals in all areas of society are doing their part in educating and working to have the US empire de-occupy and restore the Hawaiian nation state.

In other words, they love the amenities of the US Empire but stop short of any real, tangible actions. How long will this education phase last?

The education phase is ever ongoing as evidenced by many in Hawaii not even knowing that the Hawaiian nation state still exists.  As it stands, Hawaiian nationals led by Dr. Keanu Sai are still proceeding with de-occupying Hawaii via legal means.

Overview:

Locally, information provided by Hawaiian nationals are making local government officials themselves question the legitimacy of the local government system:

Internationally, Hawaiian nationals are further exposing the illegal occupation of Hawaii to the UN in preparation for the next steps:

There is always an exterior motive. Follow the money. This "Dr." is going to steal your money.

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2019/06/11/controversial-hawaiian-scholar-comes-under-fire-amid-calls-an-investigation/

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The state Office of Consumer Protection has made a criminal referral for controversial Hawaiian scholar David Keanu Sai, saying he has committed a felony.

In a court filing, OCP attorney James Evers said Sai violated the state’s Mortgage Rescue Fraud Prevention Act by taking nearly $8,000 in advance fees from distressed homeowners.

“Sai’s conduct constitutes a felony and Sai’s criminal wrongdoing has been referred to the proper criminal authorities for investigation," Evers wrote.

The criminal referral came from a foreclosure case involving a property in Ewa Beach. The owners lost their home.
“This is just ... one in a long line of scams that take advantage of people who find themselves in desperate financial situations," said longtime investigative reporter and former Common Cause Director Ian Lind.

"It’s really a shame.”

Sai, a lecturer in Hawaiian Studies at the Windward Community College, has argued that the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1893 has rendered land titles invalid.

Sai’s attorney said he was not aware of the criminal referral and declined comment.

This isn’t the first time Sai has gotten into legal trouble.

Nearly two decades ago, he was sentenced to five years of probation for theft. At the time, he tried to convince distressed homeowners to stop making mortgage payments.

http://hawaiifreepress.com/Articles-Main/ID/15742/Misrepresentation-Keanu-Sai-Again-Ordered-to-Cease-and-Desist

Self-styled King of Hawaii, Ed K Silva Jr, is again 'ordering' David K Sai to stop lying about Sai's alleged accomplishments on behalf of restoration of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Silva's ghostwriter provides a point-by-point debunk of several of Sai's claims about recent court appearances.

Like many sovereignty activists, both Sai and Silva are criminals.  Both have felony convictions for scamming money from native Hawaiians.

Sai was convicted in 2000 of Class B felony theft for his part in the Perfect Title scam which involved conning Hawaiians out of $4000 each for worthless documents purporting to show that homeowners need not pay their mortgage because the Hawaiian Kingdom was overthrown.  He allegedly raked in $400K, causing some Hawaiian families to lose their homes in the process.  He got off with a slap on the wrist and then was then given a Ph&D from UH Manoa which he has more recently used to re-start his scheme.  OHA has given Sai $95,000 in recent years.

Silva sold approximately $500K worth of worthless 'Hawaiian Kingdom' bonds.  He did 13 years in a federal penitentiary but is back out on the streets now. Silva's sidekick, Lanny Sinkin, recently returned to the Big Island from Texas where he had been hustling solar panels while his majesty was in the hoosegow.

http://www.hawaiifreepress.com/Articles-Main/ID/4684/Sovereignty-Mortgage-Scammer-Keanu-Sai-at-it-again-with-help-from-Legislators-Maui-Council-University

Sai was convicted December 1, 1999 on a single count of Class B felony theft stemming from his involvement in the so-called “Perfect Title” scam in which over 400 Hawaiian households were conned into forking out $1500 each to Sai and his company in exchange for worthless title search documents purporting to show that any title issued after the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom was invalid.

As KITV’s Daryl Huff explained February 3rd:

A legal argument based on the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, used unsuccessfully to fight foreclosures in the 1990s, is now being used once again, even though the man who promoted the theory 15 years ago was convicted of a felony. David Keanu Sai is back in the public eye 11 years after being put on probation after telling people that they could walk away from mortgages because of the way the Kingdom of Hawaii was overthrown.

Hundreds of people fighting foreclosure have invested in that claim again -- partly because Sai now has a University of Hawaii doctoral degree to back his argument.

Kale Gumapac, founder of Laulima LLC and Hawaiian Alliance LLC, advertises on Craigslist that he has a way to stop the foreclosure process.

“It doesn't put the banks in trouble and it doesn't put the borrower in trouble,” Gumapac said. “And it's worked. That's what I am trying to tell the Legislature.”

Gumapac said he has about 300 paying customers he is helping attack the title of their properties. “They can only foreclose if the title is clear,” he said.

Do the math. Sai and Gumapac have 300 “customers”. Perfect Title had 400 victims. The Maui-based Ventura-Oliver sovereignty mortgage scammers now on trial had about 300 alleged victims. That is 1000 native Hawaiian households who have allegedly fallen victim to these three alleged scams. According to the US Census for 2010, there are 289,970 native Hawaiians in Hawaii. The average native Hawaiian household size is four persons, yielding a result of 72,492 households. The rate of home ownership for Hawaii is about 60% x 72,492 = 43,495 home-owning native Hawaiian households. Thus the 1,000 alleged victims of alleged sovereignty mortgage scammers, allegedly amounting to 2.3% of all native Hawaiian home-owning households.

At Sai’s 2000 sentencing, the courtroom of Judge was filled with about 100 sovereignty activists including Kekuni Blaisdell and sovereignty criminals such as pardoned convicted felon Bumpy Kanahele. Sai got off easy with five years probation, a small fine and no restitution to his victims. Judge Sandra Simms even allowed Sai to travel to The Hague for his ridiculous and unsuccessful attempt to parlay a Hilo traffic ticket into World Court recognition of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Just over a decade later, Sai is traversing the state with a Power Point presentation. In his mis-named show, “Legal History of the Hawaiian Kingdom” Sai argues that all land title conveyances since the overthrow of the 1893 Hawaiian Kingdom are illegal. This time Sai is using the so-called “Lilioukalani Assignment”--an exchange of letters between the overthrown Queen Liliuokalani and then-US President Grover Cleveland—as the latest basis for his claim that all post 1893 land titles are illegal.

What smear campaigns against Dr. Sai's with respect to land titles does not negate the legal arguments of the illegal occupation of Hawaii by the US empire and the many Hawaiian nationals that have work towards to the restoration of the Hawaiian nation state that the local mainstream media never reports.

What I think of Dr. Sai's activities outside of the work he does in the de-occupation of Hawaii is not mine, but his own business.

Just like former President Trump, his own business activities should not be used to gauge his work on national matters.

I don't know why you always try to loop former President Trump into your arguments. No one brought Trump into this argument except yourself. Is this an attempt to garner some popular appeal to this Sai person?
Sai is a convicted felon who stole money from Hawaiians and continue to do so. His disproved argument about the illegal occupation and Land Court resulted in his conviction, sentence and the loss of Hawaiian home ownership. This guy stole from the same people he claims to be arguing for. He is a wicked, unethical opportunist.

I present former President Trump into my arguments to highlight the point that a person's historic dealings in one arena does and should not have any bearing on activities in other areas per se.  For example, the anti-Trumpers are notorious for bringing up Trump's historic bankruptcies and womanizing in an effort to smear and discredit his efforts to MAGA when he was in office.

Dr. Sai's dealings in Land Court are a separate issue from his efforts to restore the Hawaiian nation state.  BTW, the illegal occupation of Hawaii by the US empire has never been exclusively litigated by any American court as of date.

You can't defend the criminal Sai. Convicted in a court of law. Trump has nothing to do with this argument. Sai misled and defrauded people. He continues to rake in money through invalid arguments and controversy.

I don't agree with Souza and Kahele's political views but I respect the actions that they took - more than can be said about Sai.

Although it was the Trump organization and not Trump himself that was found of guilty of tax fraud and other financial crimes, to think that Trump knew nothing of what was going on would be very naive.

Souza and Kahele are a couple of sell-out Hawaiians who don't really care about Hawaiians as they do their own political aspirations.

Sai is not a perfect man or someone I would trust in any business dealings, but he is a Hawaiian patriot working for the de-occupation of Hawaii by the US empire, which I think is the real reason why many non-Hawaiians dislike him and are only happy to use Land Title case to mask that fact.
