Holy smokes you guys wrote a ton about Predator LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I think I rewatched ALIENS more times.

If anyone has not watched the extended uncut version of ALIENS, there are some interesting backstories, and more footage of the automated defense turrets (which is no longer science fiction nowadays).

I liked the movie "Aliens vs Predators"

I kinda forget how the movie went but was it the black guy (not the Apollo Creed guy) that grabbed the mini-gun after Jesse got popped by the alien and then he cut loose with the gun, just firing wildly into the jungle.

Hey hey hey, have some respect!

They are not just called the "alien".

They are the Yautja.

And sometimes the Hish-Qu-Ten.

(LOL I'm just screwing with you, hahahaha, I happened to see that when Googling around LOL)

I decided to wait until my new headphones arrived before watching Prey.  I'm watching now.

OMFG!   :shake:

I got the Skullcandy Crusher EVO Sensory Bass Headphones from Costco Online:

https://www.costco.com/skullcandy-crusher-evo-sensory-bass-headphones-with-personal-sound.product.100785779.html

They are on sale at Costco for $50 off, making them a great value depending on your needs.

I have the bass slider control just barely above the lowest setting, and my head is literally being shaken by the sound!  I thought someone was behind me messing with me (and I'm alone!).

I called Costco on Sunday to check, and was told they don't carry them in the warehouse now.  So I placed my order that night and they came today.  Now they are showing out of stock on the Costco site.

Guess I got lucky!  So far, they are everything I want in a BT wireless over-the-ear headphones for TV, movies, music, and phone calls.

Hey, let's not get our franchises confused.

Prey is part of the Predator franchise.

Alien is a whole other story ... if you don't count that one movie with the "merged" plot!   :geekdanc:.

So how was the movie?

I didn't want to be "that guy" who posts a bunch of spoilers before everyone else has a chance to see it first.

First impressions:  They used a LOT of the same plot devices from the first Predator movie, but once you're convinced the scene is a blatant rip-off from the original, they take you in an unexpected direction.  I like a movie where I can't predict what's going to happen scene-to-scene.

Bottom line:  I liked it.  The ending, as with almost every movie the last 20+ years, could have had a better wrap-up.

Obviously the script writer is a Millennial.  Many of the phrases used were current slang, something I highly doubt anyone a few hundred years ago would have used, much less Native Americans.

p.s. I think the Skullcandy headphones made a big difference in being able to enjoy the movie.  I could crank the volume and enjoy the bass effects without disturbing the neighbors .... and their neighbors ... and so on!   :geekdanc:
