With the small window of the EPS carry, I found the iron sight height is more noticeable. It 'can" take up more of the window. For the 43x, the OEM sights were usable, but maybe 1/16" of the sight above the top of the optic body. The Dawson sights are slightly taller than the Glock OEM. If time permitting, I typically shoot with the dot centered in the window, like when zeroing. Beyond that, I typically have the dot lower in the window. With the Dawson sights, I found myself having dot pretty close to or on the front sight. Giving the dot more room in the window in the "recoil cycle".
