Obama will sign an executive order banning all guns and future manufacturing & sales.  This includes banning all ammo manufacturing & sales effective immediately.
then he will revoke the Constitution! and then SWHTF!

I don't think it'll be easy.  The NRA is one of the most powerful lobbying groups in the Nation.  On top of that, I would think the President would have more pressing issues like the F'ed economy.

Just in case, I'm REALLY glad I bought those stripped lowers, but I wish it wasn't this way.  If only Romney won and the lowers were worth $50 each.  I'd still be happy that way.

They're chanting "4 more years!!"

4 more years of what?  What is so great about Obama or about what he has done, in a liberals eyes?  Seriously,  I want to know why they worship this guy.

been thinking about it for a few hours...and looking at Buds. Yeah, we are a paranoid bunch but gun shops gotta love us. I think I will hold off and not dive into the self-perceived panic buying. I have enough ARs and still some left over when I dual wield.
On another note, that commercial with Powell last night was powerful, no doubt.

I think it's the "WHAT IF" factor thats killing everyone with the "Gun Ban" thing....

I'm pretty sure the neighbor that voted for Obama is gonna want us to protect them when the StuffHTF now.....

The last thing that happened with the embassy thing and Obama doing nothing about it, should have been WAY MORE than enough for

people to realize that he has a different agenda than what his "loyal" voters think....

Obama is also ALL G with us Americans not procreating....in 2 different ways..... Man, it's so clear but people are blinded  and distracted because of their "self pleasures"

..... Talk about the classic "WAG THE DOG".... give them what they want so they don't see me screw this country over.....

I am so disheartened!  My son asked me "why do people vote for Obama?"  My answer was that "he looks/sounds good on tv."  Why else would they vote for him?

Seriously, no one in their "right" mind (pun intended) would vote for someone with Obama's record.   UNBELIEVABLE!   :-[

The CIA said that their response team was onsite at the Benghazi embassy in 25 minutes; the big story here is that FoxNews lies constantly and shamelessly.  Oh, and Obama called the attack an "act of terror" in his first press conference; Rmoney got tripped up in the debate because he gets all his news from Fox.....

be realistic people.  obama is a crappy president, but nothing of the sort that would ban guns beyond MAYBE an assault weapons ban (not even close to likely) would ever pass because the republicans still hold the house, and the democrats wont get a two thirds advantage they need in the senate to pass through anything.

checks and balances DO work.

The biggest problem will be the appointment of more liberal Supreme Court justices, IMHO.

Obama has actually put together a fairly good administration in that it is fairly good at running the country with an uncommon degree of efficiency giving the ~shitty~ condition the economy is in. Whether you agree with his policies or not you really should look at the real numbers - and the real reasons behind said ~shitty~ economy. Obama (and Bush - or any other president except perhaps Nixon) doesn't have all that much to do with it. Not the root cause of it at any rate.

As far as increased gun control, I think we all need to be on our guard. Obama can't nullify the 2nd amendment with an executive order. He just can't, OK? Get that out of your head and deal with the real threats to gun ownership: incremental federal level bans like the ludicrous "assault weapons" ban. The supreme court is a HUGE issue, of course... but we don't really have any say in that.

I've maintained, and still do, that Obama himself is not overly anti-gun. He'll certainly sign it if it gets to his desk but its not an issue he is going to spend any political capital on to get it through congress. He has precious little political capital and the Republican controlled House is going to make him spend it all just getting the basics done and putting out fires.

Barring something horrible like martial law I think the 2nd amendment is relatively safe.

Worst case scenario for the 2a.   They don't have term limits, right?

^^^^ Right. :/

In theory that makes them less likely to be political and just interpret the law without bias.

In practice it doesn't quite work out that way.

The liberals are all breathing a sigh of relief over Roe v. Wade for this very reason.

On the other hand, in order for this to make a difference several things have to happen:

1) An anti-gun law has to be passed.
2) It has to be challenged in Federal court.
3) It has to be appealed all the way up to the Supreme court

Our job is to keep step 1 from happening.
