Yup, LG renewal has a 14 day waiting period.  No new fee.  Cannot renew more than 14 days in advance of current LG permit expiration.  Bring your old permit when you renew.

Another waiting period...amazing... OK thanks  :shaka:

Arrived today (Aug 06 @ about 1:30).  No lines but didn't know because I'm born in a different country (shades of Obama) I have to produce a birth cert that shows I was a naturalized citizen.  Need to go back.  It'll 4 trips to get a long rifle.  Oh well, live and learn

The line is nowhere like it used to be. But give it time, it'll be right back where it was.

Got there about 1030, there was 2 people ahead of me.  This time I brought my birth cert (yeah, I need to get my passport renewed) and all told, took about 30 minutes to process the application, pay the fee and get my finger prints.  They guys behind the counter were good enough to give one guy change back even though there are signs everywhere that said exact only.  He had 2 hand guns, plus long gun.  Back between Aug 21-26 to pick up app...  I can see why folks do get frustrated with process.  Wouldn't be so bad if you could at least go to a different station (ie Kapolei, Mililani, Hawaii Kai, etc).

Yeah as long as their is parking and its in the right area.  Double check the sigs you park by, theres like 3 signs on each pole.

I actually just left.  No one there.  10 minutes to get a pistol permit

Only 1 guy ahead of me (another guy inside writing down his stuff) at 11:30am.

It started to get busier around 12pm. Maybe 3 or 4 guys.

Still, pretty smooth, nothing like before.

Just left, nobody else there now when I left.
