Do you have to complete the paperwork to renew long gun permit?

How many weeks can you go in to renew before the expiration date?

Is there the standard 2 week to pick up the new permit?

You do the same thing again, just without fingerprinting.  I think the earliest you can renew before expiration date is within 14 days

10/23 got there at 7:15 was 2nd in line
took 15 minutes in and out to drop off paperwork
would've been faster but guy in front of me had 5 guns to register, but no big deal.
when i left had maybe less than 10 people in line, half way to the door.
not bad at all.

To the door today.  A little more than an hour wait.
I think, therefore I am armed.

Went in at about 11:30-12:00 today.  Someone left 59 minutes on the meter so I was stoked!  Walked straight to the window and applied for new pistol permit.  Quick and easy!

Got there a little after 8, 2 guys at the window.  There was a guy in there with a Henry Repeating Arms box, thought it inappropriate to say I WANNA SEE so I didn't.
