And which statistics do they put the mass shooter under? Man or woman?

I see where the media already released the names of the kids who were murdered.
That is extremely unusual. That would be way less than 12 hours after the incident.
That has to be a new record. What's going on?

I'll say more heat for the PD misgendering the shooter.

You can't misgender the perpetrator.
Any label would be correct.

Based on police reports (always subject to change), the shooter was terminated by police on the scene.

Technically and socially speaking, the corpse has no gender now.  Just a clump of dead and dying cells.

One of the negative side effects of dispensing immediate justice like this is the lack of a target to punish.  So, the anti-gunners, anti-White racists and others will look for someone else to blame:  guns, gun companies, high capacity mags, background checks, .... anything that would have done nothing to stop the killings.

When tragedy strikes, it's always the people who did nothing wrong and guns that get blamed -- law abiding gun owners and "assault type rifles" top the list.

Isn't this the third trans shooter in the past year? I seem to remember at least one or two more.

We need changes to our crime databases.  It's no longer reasonable to simply enter M or F for the criminals.  Now they have to be categorized by gender, species and/or race they identify as, because appearances and biology are no longer important.  When identifying demographics of violent criminals, it would be unfair to the biological women committing mass murder to lump transgender women into the same group -- makes the low numbers of female mass shootings look higher than it actually should.

If we get enough violence perpetrated by transgender women (biological males identifying as women), maybe a new category could be added to the 4473 as a disqualifying mental health concern?

Just thinking out loud ...

This is a good example of how a "Sensitive Place" / "Gun Free Zone" declaration didn't work. Articles are starting to refer to the shooter as "armed person" no mention of gender.

Every time I see a story about some mentally ill individual causing death and destruction, I think back to the movie The Village.  No matter how much effort you put into making everyone safe, there will always be people who are broken and don't understand right from wrong or understand the consequences of their actions -- that's on top of the purely evil people who understand but disagree because they have no empathy for their victims.

I know trans people who are productive members of society and are probably horrified by this, however there's another group who are full on psychotics.

Religious institutions need to be on alert until we figure out what's going on here.

So Synopsis:

Shooter shot thru locked doors that had a glass window.  She entered thru that to enter.

Within about  a minute while the shooter is still in the lobby, the active shooter alarms went off.

Cops arrived 14 mins later or so.

The cop that killed the shooters bodycam is online.  He wasted no time to enter the school.  Maybe about a minute after arriving on scene at most.  And no shots were heard at this time yet.

He got the keys from a staff member outside and asked for 3 more cops to join him.

They then proceeded to clear the closest unlocked classrooms to that entrance. They got about 3 done when shots were heard in a diff part of the building.

They then stopped room clearing and headed toward the gunfire, which was upstairs.

Shooter neutralized.

Training points:

Of course as a keyboard QB and going from memory

Good:

Immediate entry/command taken, unlike Uvalde who cops hung back even though shots were heard 60 feet from their line of sight.

Manipulation of the AR holders safety lever.

Use of WML when needed (dark area of what looked like a single toilet restroom inside a classroom)

Rear security provided and that cop was focused on it.  Not looking over his shoulder inside the room to see what's going on.

1 cop was uniform, 1 was plain clothes, and 1 was more tactical gear (but no rifle). So for 3 who looks like wouldn't train at the same time together, all knew what to do.

After shooter is down, plain clothes cop mentions to watch the other side, in case there's more than 1

Improvements (nit picking)

When the rifle holding cop took his rifle out, he didn't immediately chamber a round. I would have chambered it as soon as it's taken out of the rifle bag. He waited until he got the keys to the front door.

He also didn't do a press check on his rifle.  I would have tugged on the mag to make sure it's seated well and checked to make sure I got a round in the chamber.  And again, all done as soon as the rifle is removed from the bag, before I even close the trunk of the SUV.

Upon entry to the schools main door, the shotgun wielding cop went first.  There is a long corridor and if he had bird shot and had to engage from 40 yards away, that's not effective.  Even buck shot wouldn't be as effective.  Maybe he had slugs, IDK.  So with that being said, the rifle cops should have been 1st man.  But he also had the keys and unlocked the door so...

Tin foil time:

Not 1 kid or staff was scene by the cops inside the building or classrooms.  Granted active shooter training was probably done so locked classrooms most likely had them hiding in the corner.  But to have 3 empty classrooms at 10:12AM.  It's not like it was lunch time and kids were all in the cafeteria.  So where were they?  No kids were outside, only had 2 staff outside. 1 looked like he just showed up to work.  The shooter went to school there, so why would she not go the the recess yard if it was recess time.

Cops knew the exact location where the gunfire was coming from.  After going up the stairs to the 2nd floor, they bypassed all the rooms.  Gun fire echo's big time in a building so to assume it came from 1 precise location raises eye brows.

Names and age of those killed were posted quickly compared to other active shootings victims name release.

Video that was released of the hallways from entry shows zero people in the area.  And cops bodycams also show no one besides the 2 outside.

The 2 who were outside, there's an active shooter.  What a great idea to wait right outside the entrance to the school, instead of getting out of dodge. We're they planted there?

Since there were 3 kids and 3 staff and no others wounded mentioned, where were these 6 people?  It doesnt' sound like it was a classroom she entered.  How often are 3 kids and 3 adults grouped together.  Exception is a special ed class.  The main office could be a possibility, but again to go from the entrance and see no one else on the way to that main office is not happening.

Shooter apparently was looking at shooting up a different place but “too much security”. As usual though the democrats will pretend the only answer is gun regulations Instead of just letting school staff carry during school hours.

Supreme Court needs to take that NY case that’s currently in the 2nd circuit and lay another smack down. Lives are at risk at this point.

Colorado Batman movie shooter said the same.  Of all the movie theaters, he picked the one that bans CCW cause he doesn't want to get shot.
